Richard Simmons died this morning at the age of 76, one day after his birthday.
Relevant to us, he appeared on celebrity specials of Wheel twice; for the Celebrity Halloween Special in 2000 dressed as Shakespeare, and during Celebrity Week on November 4, 1997. He also did a behind the scenes of Wheel segment during his Dream Maker series in 1999.
