Saturdays- Most Saturday airings of WOF will not be seen during football season due to college football games on all networks on most Saturdays.
- On days where CBS has an afternoon game but no evening game, coverage is scheduled until 7:30 PM ET. Some airings of Wheel in said time slot are still pre-empted in favor of local newscasts, while airings still on the schedule may not air in their entirety if the game or postgame coverage runs past 7:30.

Seems Ryan's debut went off without a hitch on all coasts. MNF thankfully ended right on time.
However, at least one viewer said his YouTube TV DVR did not record the premiere off his station because the guide listed its time slot as "TBD", likely due to the incorrect listings that had Wheel pre-empted by MNF pregame; said listings did remove the pregame but did not revert the time slot back to the correct program.
For Tuesday's debate, it seems affiliates have the option to air an encore of it in primetime. KATU's schedule has news after the debate from 8-9, a two-hour encore of the debate from 9-11, and no Wheel at all. Most stations have Wheel in primetime slots after the debate. KABC has it at 8:30 PM PT, and KNSD has it at 9:00 PM. KTVK Phoenix is simulcasting CBS's coverage of the debate and will air Wheel at 11:00 PM PT.
Wheel is not impacted on KDVR, even though their site's schedule claims otherwise. While the site has the debate starting at 6:00 PM MT, they are actually not starting it until 7:00, so Wheel is fine.

Not a pre-emption, but an anamoly: ABC O&O airings of #S-8012 had a large countdown timer for the Presidential Debate in the top-right corner throughout the entire show, except during commercial breaks. I found it very distracting.

Both #S-8014 and 8015 are pre-empted on WCYB (NBC) in the Tennessee-Virginia Tri-Cities market due to high school football games starting at 7:00. These are not listed on most listings, but WCYB announced on Twitter that Wheel would air "around" 1:35 AM ET both days, in the slot normally used for a repeat of the 11:00 news. Interestingly, they made no mention of any plans to make up other impacted programming, including a live AGT on Thursday.

Pregame starts at 6:30 ET, so WSYT Syracuse is moving Wheel to WSYT-DT3 instead of an hour early. WLUK Green Bay is airing Wheel two hours early at 4:30 CT, replacing Judge Judy. #S-8014 also appears to be pre-empted on WIVB and WROC since the Bills are playing tonight. WIVB still has Wheel listed, but their sister station WNLO has it listed as well. |

Both #S-8014 and 8015 are pre-empted on WCYB (NBC) in the Tennessee-Virginia Tri-Cities market due to high school football games starting at 7:00. #S-8014 was also pre-empted on WTOV (NBC) in the Steubenville, OH/Wheeling, WV market due to another local high school football game. Wheel was not made up at all. #S-8015 was not affected since that day's game was aired on their subchannel. #S-7818RR on Saturday was pre-empted on all CBS stations since they had a primetime college game (one of only two this season, I believe). It overran about 15 minutes. KBAK in Bakersfield had Wheel scheduled at 9:30 PM PT and aired it in its entirety starting around 9:45. The syndicated version of NCIS was joined in progress afterward. Pregame started at 7:00 ET this time, so WSYT aired #S-8019 at 6:00 ET, and WLUK aired it at 5:30 CT. |

I didn’t get to watch it myself last night for unrelated reasons, but I heard there may have been interruptions to last night (Wednesday’s) airing on WXIX (Fox, Cincinnati)? Due to a local news alert, I was told it broke on all of the main channels at 7pm so it could be possible..

Apparently, 7:30 ET NBC airings of #S-8033 on Wednesday were interrupted around 7:52 for an NBC News Special Report on Hurricane Milton.
All FOX airings of #S-8035 are pre-empted by NLDS Game 5 which starts coverage at 7:00 ET. WSYT and WLUK will both air Wheel an hour early.
#S-8036 on Monday will also be pre-empted on some FOX's by NLCS Game 2 which is scheduled from 3:00-7:30 ET counting pregame and postgame. For stations that keep Wheel at 7:30, overrun will impact it.

NLCS Game 2 overran a lot, FOX did not sign off until about 7:48ish (Game had some postgame air on FOX), Which means 7:30 ET FOX airings of #S-8036 were likely JIP'ed somewhere between the Triple Toss-Up to the Speed-Up round.

Due to two consecutive local specials on the candidates for governor and senator, Wheel is/was pre-empted on all Montana-based CBS stations on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week (#S-8042 and 8043). #S-8042 aired Wednesday at 4:00 PM MT in place of Daytime Jeopardy! #S-8043 will air Friday at 4:00 PM (not Thursday, as that is being used for Wednesday's J!; they are ensuring J! airs all of its eps in order this week, but airing order doesn't usually matter for Wheel). World Series starts tonight and all next week except Thursday. WSYT and WLUK both have Wheel an hour early on all affected weekdays.
For tonight, however, FOX is still airing a college football game after Game 1, scheduled until 2:30 AM ET, leaving less room for overnight airings. WBFF has Wheel at 3:30 AM ET late Friday night (likely will be later than that and possibly JIP'd) and 12:30 AM on the other days.
KHON in Hawaii has #S-8045 scheduled at 8:30 PM HT immediately after the college football game. This probably won't air in its entirety since they have their 9:00 PM newscast scheduled at its normal time after that. Next week's episodes won't be affected on KHON as long as the game does not overrun by more than one hour.

#S-8045 was interrupted for about 5 minutes during the 7:30PM ET airings on CBS and NBC stations for a Special Report regarding Israel beginning retaliatory strikes on Iran. Did not seem like ABC interrupted 7:30PM ET airings.

On my FIOS cable box TV guide, it says both Wheel and Jeopardy! will be preempted on WABC-TV for the election coverage. I think both shows will be preempted for the election coverage. They will. During presidential elections, the Big Three networks start coverage at 7:00 PM ET, but affiliates can opt to join it at 8:00 and air normal programming before then (but bigger cities usually don't). FOX starts coverage at 8:00, so Wheel will still air on most if not all East Coast FOX affiliates on Election Day. WABC has two airings of the weekend rerun for November 9-10 listed (Sunday at 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM), suggesting that maybe at least one weekday episode from that week will be pushed to the weekend, though every other weekend rerun after that is listed the same way too, so it may be an error. |
