A New Season, A New Host, A New Era

Where has the time gone?
A little over a year ago, Pat Sajak announced his intentions to retire after Season 41 ended. Speculation quickly began as to who would take over the hosting reigns once he took his final spin...and it was quickly ended once they announced Ryan Seacrest would take over a short time later.
Season 41 came and went, Pat said his goodbyes...to the daily version at least. He's still got a few celebrity primetime shows left, but for the most part, the Pat Sajak Era is over. Ryan is in, after a few weeks of shows were taped the set was struck and rebuilt, and the show kept as much under wraps as possible until we've seen bits and pieces over the last couple of weeks. Today, a new era of Wheel of Fortune officially begins, and while the overall changes to the show itself were minimal, there are certainly many cosmetic changes. The wait is finally over. Season 42 is here.
With the new era, we continue to move forward here at Buy a Vowel Boards. After five years, the site has gotten a visual overhaul of its own. Many thanks go out to our own MarioGS for the new background and header; awesome work as always. The site Discord server (link in the navbar above) is as active as ever; if you haven't joined it, you should do so!
Of course, none of this would be possible without all of you, our awesome community, the best on the planet. While I am nowhere near as active as I once was- the past two days getting the new theme online were probably the most active I've been in years- I am proud of everything we've accomplished these past fifteen years. I wouldn't trade any of it for the world. It is no secret that my priorities have changed, and this site is no longer one of them- and I'm sure that holds true for much of the senior staff as well. It's time for some young blood to take the reigns.
Which brings me to my next announcement: please welcome wheellover65, also known as "Jsach", to the role of Moderator. Jacob has been an awesome ambassador to the community over the past few years, and currently runs the rapidly-expanding WOF subreddit, and I can think of no one better to move into a leadership role. Much deserved. Congratulations!
And now, as I step back into the shadows once again, I hope everyone enjoys the new season, and keeps driving the ship in a positive direction. Please don't hit that iceberg. You are all awesome, and I have full confidence in each of you.
