Hello, Dear Friends & Fellow Wheel Watchers! I know it's been quite a long time since I've posted on here, but I thought I'd swing by & ask a question to you all. And the question is: What are some currently active categories that you have NOT seen in the Bonus Round lately?

There's a separate thread on categories that haven't appeared in over a year. In terms of Bonus Round categories that have been used under the "three choices" rule, these have not been offered in at least two years: Character(s), On the Map, and Occupation. On the Map is still used in rehearsal games with the puzzle LAS VEGAS NEVADA if chosen. Also, Show Biz is now exclusive to Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and has not been offered on the regular show since 2022. buyavowel.boards.net/thread/14226/active-categories-used |

Before & After has never been used a bonus round category, correct? Correct, none of the wordplay categories (B&A, Same Name, Same Letter, etc.) have been used in the BR on the show proper. However, they are utilized in the video games. |

It won’t be, but could have been MAYBE been before the $1,000 bonus was added - just like it used to be as a tossup.
I’m happy wordplay categories are never used in the bonus round - the BR is supposed to be a direct answer, not connecting two words, or your only hint at the category being the first letter of each word being the same.

Same Letter has never been used in the BR either, even prior to the addition of the $1,000 bonus.
