We’re definitely doing well this week in the BR when we solely need it, but I still don’t think abbreviations are fair game. Even though this taped out of order, it definitely felt like some purse strings were tightened after the $100k win. PICTURE in full practically gives away the puzzle, but PIC doesn’t. The BR really shouldn’t invoke any kind of slang, especially if the full puzzle fits and regardless of the difficulty level.

Even with some rough BANKRUPTS, the ladies fared well, particularly Marie-Eve. She had a great introduction and impressed me with her J pick in the Final Spin; and once again, someone picked the right letters at the end.
A bummer Kevin couldn’t partake in the goodies, but he was a hoot. And I no-lettered the first Toss-Up.
