Puzzle writing definitely feels like it’s in budget mode this week. Obviously, it’s a strung together week, but the super short puzzles in R2 both yesterday and today as well as the prize puzzles fluffing totals even more than usual is rather off-putting.
That was one of the weirder / crappier TTU sets we’ve had in a while. Surely, there were other, more legit phrases to include that played off the word RUN?
This is a BR stretch we could’ve only dreamed of 6-7 years ago. It couldn’t have come at a better time either, especially when we so badly needed it after a rather dreadful first couple of weeks and the show settling into a groove among audiences with Ryan.

My my my, the bonus wheel is hot, hot, hot right now! Three $100k winners in six shows! It doesn't quite match the three in a row from a couple seasons ago, but it's still an impressive feat nonetheless.

Sharay made some unusual calls in R1. The first two consonants kept her going, but the third one was not a good call, imo. I couldn't identify FAITHFUL for that one. Ryan was so close in getting another dollar amount in R2. If he had avoided the Bankrupt in the next few spins, maybe he would've gotten more than the house minimum. The Speed-Up Round puzzle reminded me about the recently ended World Series game I've watched before this episode. That was crazy by linking the Speed-Up Round puzzles from the October 28 episode and this one. Ryan's a great player, so when he called the B and the C, I'm confident that he would get it. He also had time to shoutout his grandma , the second time I've seen someone doing a shoutout during the BR. Reminded me of this quote, "You know, if you talked a little longer..., you would have had nothing" - Pat Sajak (December 28, 2022). Wait, another $100K?! The first one happened last week, followed by another one 2 nights ago and the third one?! Also, the first $100K win before the overhaul of the set. I wouldn't have thought that there would be two grand prize wins in a single week after the historic three $100K wins back in Season 39. Now, it's possible! Congratulations, Ryan! We're just two months into the new era and this is really crazy. What will happen next?

Opening an audition email and frontloading the alphabet in the Bonus Round worked wonders for Ryan. Two $100K wins in one week couldn’t be better (well, except for three of them)! 👏🏾 On the other hand, Sharay had terrible fortune with her letter choices. It would’ve been nice to see her win something, even if it was just the earnings from the Final Spin puzzle she wanted to solve. The Speed-Up Round puzzle reminded me about the recently ended World Series game I've watched before this episode. That was crazy by linking the Speed-Up Round puzzles from the October 28 episode and this one. Oh, the irony! And I no-lettered this episode’s Speed-Up puzzle like Monday’s. But the last Triple Toss-Up baffled me, and the second Toss-Up could’ve very well been a stumper. My rating: 8 9
