As far as edits, there was one retake we had to do when Pat supposedly said something that the bosses didn't like. So he said he did a retake and that was that. I say supposedly because it happened to be right after Mike and I solved a puzzle and tried to give each other a high five. We missed and thus were quite embarrassed. I believe this may be why they truly wanted to do a retake, but just didn't want to call us out on it. They did a retake and on the episode you see Mike and I nailing the high five, although if you watch closely, we are trying hard to be sure to make contact. LOL. Pat starts talking as Vanna is turning the last letters on the puzzle, the camera cuts to us and we do the high five. It's difficult to tell when they started the edit but the evidently just placed Pat's voice over the original recordings as vanna was turning letters.
They didn't edit our expressions when we found out our prize puzzle was to Ft Walton Beach. The smiles were sort of fake, as that is only a 3.5 hour drive for us, a place we can go anytime we wish. But we will enjoy it. Had we known the prize puzzle was so close to home, we would've definitely kept spinning to earn more cash than $100. I know that's a pitiful amount, but how could we risk a chance to Hawaii, Europe, or the Caribbean?
