Round 2 had an interesting ending with the vowel purchases after there were only vowels left, and the last word being obvious with U the only vowel remaining but he still bought it instead of solving. I guess just chalk it up to nerves though.
San Antonio as a Prize Puzzle trip? I think of barbecue more in Texas than country fried steak too.
A good bonus round solve, it was not a gimme without the Os showing.

This is the zaniest teachers’ episode this season.
On one hand, there were quite a bit of penalties, and Joey’s purchase of the remaining vowels in Round 2 was a little baffling but understandable – he probably didn’t want SOUP to trip him up and cost him the Spain trip. On the flip side, Reyna brought the dances and Michelle brought the sportsmanship, and it was nice to see the student shout-outs.
Speaking of Reyna, I’m glad CDMA worked out for her in the Bonus Round. I was kinda hoping we’d get a third $100K win… but then we’d go into budget mode. 😂
I wasn’t expecting San Antonio as the Prize Puzzle trip or a Crossword puzzle on a compilation episode.
