I noticed Darren passed on the Mystery Wedge, and it wasn't revealed going to the break. Does the show not do that gimmick anymore?

They haven't done that for a long time, even while Pat was still hosting.
That was a very solid game, but a rough BR to watch. Appreciate the buildup, but oof.
Ryan's starting off well; he's a little stilted (expected for his first week) but did a decent job on night one.

Had the speed up puzzle when the T’s were called
Had the bonus puzzle of RSTLNE. I saw it possibly difficult for him and it was. Ugh another $75K loss. I don’t think we have had a $75K win yet, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, if we have had a $75K win yet, I probably didn’t see it. But yeah, a $75K win would be amazing I want to see one
Very good game to start the week, this was a really great match between Kenneth and Darren. One of them got 6 of the same letter and one of them got 5; and they both got trips. Unfortunately the big bonus round loss had to turn things down but I still enjoyed this great match they both put up

Ryan’s debut, taping-wise, was an interesting watch.
I particularly enjoyed the standing ovation for him, Jamella’s story about her youngest son, and the intense match between Kenneth and Darren. Good thing Kenneth avoided buying the only bad vowel in Round 1.
The only thing that could’ve improved this episode was a Bonus Round win. CAN’T definitely couldn’t have been the second word, but the H might have saved Kenneth’s bacon.
Oyster crackers are one of those things I’ve seen but never put a name to until now. And I no-lettered the Prize Puzzle and Final Spin.
