I was searching through Google's "Video" tab for daytime Wheel when I found a link listed as "Dr. Puffert on 1980's Wheel of Fortune! (Part 2)" (Part 1 wasn't present).
(This was the Google search result picture. Unless I really suck at this game, the answer is HOT UNDER THE COLLAR.)
(This was the thumbnail shown after I clicked the link. Clicking on the Play button gave me a message saying that the video had been removed or made private. Using Ctrl-Print Screen, I copied the thumbnail to Paint and cropped out the irrelevant bits.)
The category chyron, contestant backdrops, and Wheel color scheme put this between about February 1985 and September 1986, but I've seen nearly all the circulating daytime shows from that period and none have this grouping.

[EDIT 5/11/13: Fixed image links. Also, looking for this video again led me to SaveVid and Communiversity, both of which indicate that these two videos were on YouTube at one point, with these descriptions:
Part 1: "Watch as Dr. Douglas Puffert (Prof. of Economics at The King's College) owns everyone on Wheel of Fortune!"
Part 2: "Dr. Puffert continues to own the wheel, but will it be enough to seal his spot in the bonus round?!"
Further, this article (from after Puffert was fired from The King's College, which seems to have been a deliberate attempt by his students) indicates that he won a car on the show...although the entire site has been destroyed, and Internet Archive has no copies.]
