Here's my personal list of blown solves...
-Becki Burrell's massive near-$40K loss on GLEAMING WHITE SAND BEACH (adding the -ES) at the end.
-On the 13th episode from Chicago: Kevin Reardon blowing the solve THREE times w/ ELEVATOR TRAIN PLATFORM (ELEVATED TRAIN PLATFORM), DANGLING ON AIR JORDAN (DANCING ON AIR JORDAN) and BUTTERSCOTCH CANDIES (BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIES).
-On the first episode of Season 25 finale week, two ladies blowing the solve with SPECIAL & STITCHING POINT and DECIMAL & STITCHING POINT respectively (answer was DECIMAL & STICKING POINT).
-The "GOING TO THE CHAPEL..." incident on the Hawaii finale
-John's THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT REPORT on the Thursday episode of "Fall Foliage" (Season 27)
-Chuck on the Friday episode of "College Week from Boston" saying FREE PASS on the second Tossup of PROPER NAME (answer was BRAD PITT) and IN DAY LAND WITH AN DOG (PHRASE; the answer was IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE)
-All three military contestants blowing the solve once on December 17, 2009. First was Steve with A DANCING RECITAL, then Frances (a girl) with HIGH-EFFICIENT FRONT-LOAD WASHER and Chris with WOW, THIS IS GOING TO BE GOOD.
-SELF-POTATO for SELF-PORTRAIT on December 29, 2009(Lolita; December 29, 2009)
-PUNCH GOAL, PUNCH HOLE and PUNCH MOLE on March 15, 2010 by Jaime Smith (resulted in the 1st and only $100K loss of Season 27)
-UNKNOWN FACT $100K disaster
-OKLAHOMA NEBRASKA, GERONIMO HORSE and MESSING WITH SPRING COLORS on the January 7, 2011 episode (6th $100K loss). You can see the answers in the recap for said episode.
-David's WINDOW WASHERS blunder (answer was YELLOW DAFFODILS)
