In March of 1996, my uncle (RIP) recorded three weeks' worth of shows on a VHS tape for me, as I was quite enamored with WOF even at 2 years old. I knew the general dates of the shows on the tape, but wanted to have a more precise record (as in the ACTUAL airdates). The WOF History Wiki mentions that on March 14th, a Before and After puzzle was WHEEL OF FORTUNE COOKIE. I have this episode, and have the weeks surrounding it.
I guess what I would like to say is thank you to those that regularly edit the WOF History Wiki. I have contributed some information from those episodes in the March 1996 section, so go check it out!

You're welcome, but I've removed the note about the "existence" of March 4-22 -- it doesn't really mean very much. Also, did March 4 have Title/Author or Author/Title? The way you wrote it (and please remember to put events in chronological order), it appears to be the earliest known use of Author/Title. Keep contributing to the Wiki, we appreciate it.

Thanks. I'm the creator of the Wiki, so more information is helpful.
Also, I archive the bonus puzzles, so if you could send me those (letters called, win/loss, prize) that'd be nice too.

It was AUTHOR/TITLE, for sure: JANE AUSTEN'S PRIDE AND PREJUDICE.

The WOF History Wiki mentions that on March 14th, a Before and After puzzle was WHEEL OF FORTUNE COOKIE. If you can believe it, I specifically remember that on that very date! In fact, if you're referring to the timeline, I was the one who put it in there! I specifically remember it R1, followed by an Olympics promo.

Yes. I have the episode on tape as well, and have confirmed this date.
