The last day of the Season Premiere Week, over $150,000 has been given away so far! Let's end this week with a big bang.
-----------------------------------------
From big cash to huge prizes, Wheel has it all! From motorboats to jewelry, from cars to vacations, Wheel has all of it! Wheel also has over $142,000 waiting to be won tonight! And now, here are the three contestants waiting to have it all:
Cynthia Jones: Cynthia's a seamstress who makes clothes that women are dying to get into, according to her.
John Davidson: I'm sure you remember him as our returning champion, with $61,000 cash and gems he earned in 2 days!
Valerie Lashinski: A mother and a student, she is studying how to become a court reporter.
Three contestants. Three players looking to win big bucks. Will John retire undefeated? Will Cynthia end John's run of luck? Or will Valerie report her opponents' losses? Let's find out!
$1,000 is on the wheel for the first round of gameplay and so is Bankrupt, which only one person wanted. Here comes the first puzzle tonight, it's a Phrase.
And Cynthia is the draw winner, so she goes first. She starts us off lighting up a bunch of single letters, including a $1,000 S! After uncovering her first multiple, she Bankrupts away $2,500. Over to John, who calls the rest of the consonants...
John says that THINGS ARE LOOKING UP for $1,050 and a head start.
Cynthia:
John: $1,050
Valerie:
Bankrupts: 1 (Cynthia - $2,500)
Lose a Turns: 0
Duds: 0
Missolves: 0
Onto Round 2, which means $2,500 has covered up the $1,000 wedge and a prize is over $150, that prize is a Kimbel Piano worth $3,830 (marked PIANO on wheel)! Now that everything's in place, another puzzle is here and it's a big People.
John gets to start and puts up a few letters before Lose a Turn ends his turn. Valerie now has a chance to spin and her first two hang around Lose a Turn, but she does some more work before landing on the red $200 and calling her first dud. Cynthia lands on the Clarendon $300 and puts up the H before LAT stops her from doing any more letter picking. Back to John...
...who lights up the R and earns $2,200 more with TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY!
Cynthia:
John: $3,250
Valerie:
Bankrupts: 0
Lose a Turns: 2 (Cynthia - $300), (John - $2,000)
Duds: 1 (Valerie - P - $500)
Missolves: 0
So far John has dominated, but it's anyone's game, since the good ol' $3,500 wedge is now on the wheel and it is surrounded by $900s! For Round 3, there is a large Thing, which has a hyphen in it.
Valerie starts us off with a $250 T before dudding with an S on $550. After that, Cynthia Bankrupts after putting up the Ns. Then John calls the L before calling a bad Y. Back to Valerie, who calls another dud, a G on $700. Cynthia lights up a few letters before hitting Bankrupt again! Over to John...
...who fills in all but one last letter and solves CHOCOLATE-COVERED FROZEN BANANA for $2,100 more!
Cynthia: BANKRUPT Victim
John: $5,350
Valerie:
Bankrupts: 2 (Cynthia - $1,200, $1,950)
Lose a Turns: 0
Duds: 3 (John - Y - 500), (Valerie (2) - S, G - both with $250)
Missolves: 0
The scores are not so big, but that can all change with the $5,000 wedge on the wheel! And there's not another prize on the wheel, oddly enough. Now, the category for Round 4 is Before & After.
Cynthia starts this round and also starts it with a dud, N on the pink $300. Right after that, John LATs. Over to Valerie, who lands on the purple $350 (Pat mistakenly said she landed on $250) and she calls a bad T. Back to Cynthia, but before she can spin, the bells ring which means Pat has to give the wheel a final spin. After some letters are put up and some duds are called, we have this...
Cynthia gets on the board with MOBY DICK CLARK for her first and only $1,600!
Cynthia: $1,600
John: $5,350
Valerie: Unlucky
Bankrupts: 0
Lose a Turns: 1 (John - $0)
Duds: 3 (Cynthia (3) - N, Repeat N, W - $0, $800, $800), (John - F - $800)
Missolves: 0
John is back here one last time and three prizes are left for him and one of them could be his. The three prizes are the same as what was on yesterday, so he chooses the H card. And the last puzzle he has to solve is.. Things.
R, S, T, L, N, and E are going to be given.
Well, he already has more than half the puzzle revealed for him! He makes interesting selections today, as he picks C, H, M, and U.
Not any help at all... but can he be able to solve this puzzle?
No he cannot... and he loses out on the Car. This puzzle was quite interesting, as he had been using vowels for the past 3 episodes. But I don't think he would complain about his three day winnings: $66,350! And on the next episode, there will be three new consonants playing... err, contestants playing America's Most Watched Game Show, since John is now an undefeated, retired champion!
