Tonight, over...
....in fabulous cash and prizes can be won, on Wheel of Fortune with a Clarendon wedge in Round 2! And here are the contestants who want to win large!
John Yeuster: He's back again for one last time on Wheel of Fortune, in two days he has earned $38,000 in cash and jewelry!
Allison Cox: Commercial loan offcer for a large bank fare.
Cathy Suheisa: Despite being from Hawaii, she's a student at the University of Massachusetts. Although, I'm not sure if she actually needs the money if she can afford to travel across half the Pacific and the majority of the US...
Will Allison get a big total in her bank? Will John go undefeated? Or will our traveller travel into Bonus Land? Go ahead and find out!
$1,000 is on the wheel, it's the top dollar amount and these three players are playng for cash... unless they want a bunch o' Free Spins. Here's the first puzzle of the night, it's Things. (not Phrase!)
John won the backstage raw yet again, so he'll go first again. Immediately, he hits the $1,000 and gets an S! He puts more than half of the puzzle up before he duds with an N on the blue $300. Allison lands on the Free Spin wedge and reaches down for it but Pat stops her before she can attempt to lift it. She gets a chip instead. Right after, she duds with a T on the red $200 and play goes to Cathy. Cathy then calls a C, not in the puzzle. John is the only one with cash, but he loses it to Bankrupt. Back to Allison, who lands on the orange $200 and calls D as in dud. Cathy then lands on the blue $300 and loses her turn with an L. John ends up on the purple $200, but can't get a P. Allison now has her turn back, but she loses it again with an F on the pink $250! Cathy's pointer goes on the $350 and she wants an N that's already been called. John tries it again, but can't find a B on the orange $200. And Allison calls our TENTH dud tonight, in Round 1, a J on the purple $200! Everyone still has no money, so vowels aren't an option. Cathy hits a big $900, but can't get any money if she keeps calling letters that have already been called, this time it was D. After eight consecutive duds, John finally gets another letter up there, a W, but he doesn't have enough to buy a vowel, since that W was worth $150! He has to spin again... and he lands on the Fre Spin wedge, so he has a Free Spin now and after calling the Vs...
...he is able to save us from this Round of Duds by solving RAVE REVIEWS for $550.
John: $550 (Free Spin)
Allison: (Free Spin)
Cathy: Dud repeater.
ROUND OF DUDS ATTACKS!
Bankrupts: 1 (John - $1,550)
Lose a Turns: 0
Duds: 11 (John - N, P, B - $1,550, $0, $0), (Allison - T, D, F, J - all with $0 + FS), (Cathy - C, L, Repeat N, Repeat D - all with $0)
Missolves: 0
Moving on to Round 2, two players are holding a Free Spin which may come in handy. The top dollar amount has been raised to $2,500 on that sparkly blue wedge and there's a prize on the wheel now. It's a motorcycle from Kawasaki, valued at $2,448 (marked BIKE on wheel)! Now, the Round 2 category is unsurprisingly, Phrase.
Allison will start this round and she starts it off by picking up the motorcycle prize! Her next spin lands on $400 and she says to Pat that she'd like to use her Free Spin... wrong pointer. But she uses her Free Spin after she calls a dud D on that $400. After she uses it, she gets $600 worth of Ss on the board before she buys SIX Es. Her next spin hits $2,500, which is good for three Ts! She's on a roll and she keeps rolling in more money...
For $9,600 and the motorcycle, she solves CRAWL BETWEEN THE SHEETS!
John: $550 (Free Spin)
Allison: $12,048

$3,500 is now on the wheel and I should mention that $3,500 is the only piece of Clarendon on the wheel! Let'sget to the next puzzle, it's... Phrase...
Cathy starts this round and puts up the N and D. However, she ends her turn with a dud T on $800. John puts up the Ss before dudding with an M on $700. Allison tries to get more money, but is not successful this time around with a bad R on the red $600. Cathy & John then Bankrupt back to back leaving no one with any money. Over to Allison, but she duds with a P on the purple $250 so it's back to Cathy now. Cathy lands on $150 and calls the fifth dud this round, a C! John then lands on the pink $200 and calls a bad L! Allison finally lights up another letter, a B, but then decides not to buy a vowel and spins again, only to dud with a K on the blue $400. Right after that, Cathy hits Lose a Turn. John lands on the orange $400 and calls the TWENTIETH dud tonight, an F! Allison then lands on $3,500 and is able to call a letter in the puzzle, a $3,500 G! She takes $250 out of her total to buy a vowel, and it's a good one, three As! After some good $900 spins...
...and even though it was a Round of Duds, it was still a pretty good round since Allison figred out HIGHWAYS AND BYWAYS for $8,000!
John: $550 (Free Spin)
Allison: $20,048
Cathy:
RELENTLESS ROUND OF DUDS!
Bankrupts: 2 (John - $1,000), (Cathy - $800)
Lose a Turns: 1 (Cathy - $0)
Duds: 8 (John - M, L, F - $1,000, $0, $0), (Allison - R, P, K - $0, $0, $250), (Cathy - T, C - $800, $0)
Missolves: 0
Well, twenty duds in total have been called so far tonight and Rounds 1 & 3 have taken very long to finish, so Pat has to give the wheel a final spin before the bells even ring.
Pat will give the wheel one last spin and it may be worth as much as $5,000.
John: Starts the round. (Free Spin)

Cathy:
Final Spin Result:

Well... we all know who will win, but still, vowels are valued at $0 and consonants are $350 a piece.

John gets a little more money by solving DAISY CHAIN OF EVENTS for $700.

Allison: $20,048
Cathy: Unlucky
Bankrupts: 0

High Sized Maingame Winnings: $21,298 and a Useless Free Spin
Altogether, 25 duds have been called in this episode alone!
John won the jewelry yesterday, so that's out of play, but there are four great prizes still out there including 2 cars, the Vacation of a Lifetime, and the $25,000 in cash! Four cards are still waiting to be grabbed...
And the card she wants is the L. Pat now has the envelope and she must solve an Event to win the prize the envelope contains.
The whole RSTLNE package will be shown.
That help was generous, already four letters revealed and more might be needed... she goes for CMDA.
Which leaves all but four letters in the puzzle. It looks easy at this point, but can she win this Bonus Round?
Yes! Allison solves LUNCH BREAK and wins the Cadillac Seville! That luxury sedan is worth $31,435, bringing her one day total to $51,483 in cash and prizes, she'll be returning on the next episode as well!
