Nighttime Wheel Recap: 12/24/2007

Pre-Show Skit: A man dressed up as a $5,000 wedge is lecturing Pat on what to land on. If it has to be Bankrupt first, fine, but the people want $5,000!



Christmas Eve is here for me to recap and it's time to get into the Holiday Season spirit by getting to work! Here we go.



It's a giving time of year, so $1,000 will be given to the contestant that solves an Event.



*Debra pushes the ringer*



This is the time of the year where most families would have a FAMILY REUNION and Debra knew that, so she has $1,000!

Debra Hawn: Cheese maker, she makes cheese, all kinds of cheese and sells them to the Farmer's Markets and local retail stores.
Meghan Brown: Recently graduated with a degree in annual health and will be taking a state boards test to be a licensed veterinarian technician. She's also a personal assistant.
Patrick Doherty: Sixth grade math teacher, coaches seventh and eighth grade basketball, and likes to run marathons. He will also be going to graduate school in Spring 2008.

Patrick solved the last tossup, so he'll be going first this round, but he's off to a rough start with a Bankrupt. Debra calls every letter in the second word, but duds with a G on the purple $600 next to $2,500. Meghan starts with a $900 R, but ends quickly with Lose a Turn. So far, everyone lost their turn in a different way! Patrick puts the C and L up...

It's the Big Money & Mystery Round, the mystery wedges are now on the wheel and one of them holds $10,000! But the other hides a Bankrupt. The Big Money Wedge is also on the wheel, which could be worth as much as $25,000 with one spin of the wheel! Phrase is the category for this big round and it's also a Prize Puzzle!



Meghan gets to start the round and her first spin is a $3,500 spin! She calls an N, and there are two of them! She then buys the As and lights up the D, completing the second word. The Big Money Wedge is at $25,000 this next spin, but she misses it by landing on $600, though she still gets $1,200 worth of Rs. She buys an E and an I and then calls FOUR Ts, but only on $300. Her next buy is an O, but her next consonant is a dud, an S on $400. Patrick finishes off the vowels and calls a couple consonants before dudding with a G on $450. Debra calls the C...
