Mark won the backstage draw again, he must be very good at that, so he's spinning first. He gets a lot of consonants and vowels up there before he hits $1,000 and puts up the Hs! Then he lands on $1,000 again and calls the THREE Fs! Mark says that his total is more than enough for him to solve...



He's racking up big already, BREAKFAST FOOD FOR THOUGHT gives him $6,850 and the early lead!

What a great first round that was! Now the money's getting higher with that blue $2,500 wedge on the wheel and crystal stemware from Orrefors is on the wheel, that's valued at $2,756! It's on the wheel, marked CRYSTAL, and the next puzzle is a Phrase, apostrophe included.



Joe will start this second round, but Pat interrupts his gameplay to bring up a neglected apostrophe. Now, his first spin was $150 and he got one N. Joe picks some multiples early on and then while he's spinning, he gets to pick up the Free Spin and calls the R. He puts the Es and a few more consonants up...



With the Free Spin in hand, he solves THERE'S A METHOD TO MY MADNESS for $4,850 and that Free Spin!

Not counting the BR, from yesterday's and today's episode, there have been FIVE Perfect Rounds in a row!



There's that sparkly $3,500 on the wheel now and let's see if Anne can make this round the sixth perfect round in a row, with another Phrase.



Anne will start and she starts with the Ts and an N, but then the run has ended, she called a dud R on the red $500. Hadn't seen one of those in a long time! Over to Mark and he's also dudding with an S on the red $600. Joe fills in all but one consonant, he can't fill it in immediately, however, because he hit Bankrupt! Joe's using the Free Spin and he gets $450 back...



Mark is probably TOUGH COMPETITION, Joe solves this one for $450.

Mark will start this fourth round yet again, but this time he starts it with a dud T on the pink $350. Joe puts up a quarter of a dozen Rs, but then duds with an S on the orange $200. Anne puts up a $900 N, but loses that $900 to Bankrupt. Back to Mark, he lights up three Gs on the big yellow $900...



Mark isn't HARBORING A GRUDGE, he's extending his lead by $2,700!

Joe's going to spin and he starts with a Bankrupt. Anne puts the first letter up, a $900 T. Then, Anne & Mark Bankrupt back yo back, the former losing her $900. Joe isn't doing any better by hitting Lose a Turn. Anne spins and returns to $900, she's getting an H in there. She then hits... not Bankrupt, the big $1,500 for three Ns! The bells ring right after that!
