Nighttime Wheel Recap: 2/20/2008

David earned the right to start the first round and he does, but with Lose a Turn. Susan spins and hits the purple $600 near the top dollar for two Ts. She calls three Ns on the blue $600 next and buys four Es! Another spin and she uncovers three Rs along with one I in her second purchase. She lands on the blue $500 next and a dud is called, S. Stephanie calls the D and then the H for the Free Spin and an additional $300! She cleans the vowel department out with A and O...



For $700, which will be bumped to the house minimum, Stephanie solves FROZEN DINNER THEATER.

There's silver on the wheel, but without glitter. It's the Jackpot wedge, that increases with every spin of the wheel! Also on the wheel is magenta-pinkish $3,500, it's also a cash craze. This time, the category is Place and it's a Prize Puzzle!



Susan begins the round with two Ss at $900 each. Her next spin is heading into trouble, Lose a Turn. Stephanie spins up the yellow $400, but she calls a T to lose her turn. She hangs on to her Free Spin, which is probably a good move considering her spin power and the potential for big money next round. David lands on the blue $500 and he calls the N. He takes another spin and it's the orange $800 for three Ds! David does a bit of buying with A and E next, before Bankrupt takes away his $2,400. Susan currently has $1,800, she calls the L right away for the Gift Tag. She takes $250 to buy the O, but spins again to hit Bankrupt. Stphanie spins once and calls the Cs...



Stephanie earns $1,000 more by solving SECLUDED SANDY COVE. That's not all, though, she's also taking a vacation to Cabo San Lucas valued at $5,600!

Stephanie spins the wheel and her first spin just happens to be the Big Money Wedge holding $25,000! She calls an N... there are two, so $25,000 goes into her bank! Her next spin hits the trip to Hong Kong and she'll pick that up with an S! After calling the three Rs, she decides it's time to buy, an E and an A. She goes again... and she BANKRUPTS to LOSE $25,400 and the Trip! It doesn't get any more painful... shoot. Her turn isn't lost though, the Free Spin allows her to play on. She'll try to get some back and that mystery wedge covering the green $500 just might make that happen! B is her call and there's a B... Stephanie's obviously going for it.
