It's Halloween and for this day, I'm doing a recap of Halloween episodes, starting with the show that began 35+ years of spinning, Daytime Wheel!
-----------------------------------------
Look at this studio, filled with fabulous and non-cheap merchandise! Including... a complete home music center! A $2,900 man's gold chain! And... a getaway for one week in Paris! Over...
...in treats, not tricks, can be won this morning on Daytime Wheel of Absolute Fortune! Here are the players ready to shop & win.
Tina Bennett: Returning champion that has racked up $9,686 in prizes on Friday, including a new car!
Janet Gast: A mother who enjoys crafting and doing aerobics.
Tim Butler: He's getting into a business of interior lighting and designing light fixtures.
Three players who chose this version over Nighttime and currently... you can probably win a lot more here.
Pat spins this pre-makeover wheel, featuring $750 as the top dollar amount and a wedge ending in something other than -00/-50, that's $175 right next to the big one. Also on the wheel is a black thing called Bankrupt, it will take your money, but not your treats, since once you buy a prize, you can't return it. The first puzzle of the day is a Person's puzzle.
...that's not me. The players drew numbers to see who would start and it is Tina. She gives the wheel a strong spin, but strong led to a Lose a Turn hit. Now it's Janet's turn and her first spin is weak, but it lands on the big $600! She calls an N as in Nancy, but the N is a trick. Tim spins the wheel and puts up the first letter of the day, an R. He spins again and hits the Free Spin wedge, so he has collected one. Another spin is done and it slides onto $400, but there's no B. Tina's second spin passes Lose a Turn and hits $450, she'll get two Ts. She shoves the whel again and it doesn't reach $400, it's $250, but there are no Ss to have. Janet's second spin hits $250, she'll get some money with a C. She spins again and it goes into the yellow $100, where she duds with a K. Tim takes the wheel to the other $100, for an H. He spins again in hopes of $750, but LAT crushes his hopes. Tim uses the Free Spin to keep his turn and he goes for the Ls...
Tim solves RICH LITTLE, for $800 and he'll be spending that in the Fashion Boutique.

Round 2 is here and so are a few big amounts, namely the yellow $900 and $1,000, the largest amount of the round and... it's blue! This time around, the puzzle is a Phrase.
Janet will start this round and her first spin is slow, but it's fast enough to hit that blue $1,000! She wants a T and there is one, as well as another. She has $2,000 right off the bat and she's spinning again, sliding away from $900 into $200 for an S. She shops for a couple vowels, the Es and Os. Next comes another spin and it hits the blue $550 for the R. She buys an A and then hits the blue $250 for a third of a dozen Ns! After that call...
Janet will not LEAVE NO STONE UNTURNED, since she has $3,000 from that solve to spend!

This wheel is getting more expensive by the commercial, with a $2,000 wedge and an orange $1,500 wedge on the wheel just waiting to be hit! Thing is the category for this first round.
Tim will start this round, but with a dud T on the yellow $400. Tina's first spin since Round 1 is the big $900, she's tricked with the S. Janet gets us out of the dud rut with two Ns for $700. She spins again and the wheel slides past $2,000, but it stops on $1,500! For that $1,500, she'll be treated with an R. To the shock of Pat and everyone else...
...she's going to attempt to solve! For $2,200, she tries DIAMOND RING, but that is unfortunately incorrect. She loses her turn and Tim gains his turn. His first spin is right in between $2,000 and the previous $2,000 location, and he'll get two Gs for $1,000. He's taking another spin, but it hits Lose a Turn. Tina's peg is on $2,000 and with her near-full rotation spin, she hits it! She calls a D and she already knows that there are two Ds! With $4,000 in hand...
Tina solves WEDDING RING for $4,000 and first place! She's going to be spending all of that cash for treats in the Study.

No one's out yet, there's time for a fourth round and this fourth round's category is a Thing.
Tina will be starting Round 4 and her first spin just passes $2,000 onto $300, she calls a T... as in Tina, but there aren't any. Janet spins once and gets an N up there before she hits Lose a Turn. Tim will... not be spinning, Pat will, it's Speedup time!
Pat's going to give one of his good spins.
Tina: $0
Janet: $500
Tim: $0
Final Spin Result:
$2,000
Well, things have definitely gotten interesting! Consonants are $2,000 for each one found and vowels aren't!
It's anyone's game and my first daytime table.
Janet earns $4,500 by solving MACARONI SALAD! She's the big winner, but first she has to spend her money for some treats in that Study.

Maingame Winnings: $12,300
Janet is the new champion with $7,500 in prizes to her name! Now she'll try to win even more in the Bonus Round and the prize to play for is her selection, she wants to win...

The truck, valued at $6,929, a win right here would almost double her winnings, let's hope for the best as she will play the Bonus Round. Today's category is a Phrase.
The puzzle is four lines long?! Well, I don't know why, but she has to pick five consonants and a vowel. Her picks are without an R, TNSDLE, let's see how it plays out.
That's all the help she's getting. She has fifteen seconds to try and solve this puzzle, though...
Janet only has the first two words, so she doesn't win the van. She is a returning champion, however, $7,500 in prizes is her one day total and she'll try again on her next episode!
