Larry Nash: A physical trainer, a karate instructor, and he sells insurance for corporations.
Shirley Quan: Executive assistant for the president of a film production company.

Next to the Free Spin is $,000 and that's the biggest amount for Round 1, cash is what's featured and this first puzzle is the usual Phrase.



Alan won this backstage draw, so he'll be spinning first. He quickly fills in the second word with T, H, and E, but there aren't any Ns for him. Larry gives the wheel a spin and it ends up on $350, where there aren't any Ls. Shirley starts by calling two Ls for $600, followed by a good purchase of two Os. Her next spin clings on to the purple $200 and she will receive a B, but then she'll give back $550 to Bankrupt. Alan puts up a $450 W, but his A buy is a dud. Larry spins once and calls a $150 D. He decides to continue on and that's a good move since his next spin is $800! The Fs are turned...



Larry says to Pat, BLOW THE LID OFF, and that gives him $1,750!

A sparky blue $2,500 is now on the wheel and joining it is a wedge marked JEWEL, that is a Service gift certificate valued at $3,000! They're both on the wheel, so we're moving onto a...nother Phrase.



Larry will begin this second round in a big way with a $2,500 first spin! His T call will give him.... $5,000! He spins again for the Ss and then his purchase of A costs him his turn. Shirley takes her first move of the day and she will pick up the Free Spin, but her unique P pick will leave her with a lost turn. Alan spins it and has two Ns for $800. He'll make a purchase, but it's a dud A. Larry calls the C, followed by $500 spent on two Is, filling the third word entirely and the trio of Os. His next spin will put his run on hold, it's Lose a Turn. After that, Shirley's forced to return the Free Spin because of Bankrupt, but her turn is still in place. She makes Vanna turn the last multiple of two Ls and then she LATs to leave $800 behind. Alan spins twicefor the W ad his final spin of the round is $2,500 where he'll get an F!



Alan was thinking to himself FOLLOW YOUR INSTINCTS and that will give him $3,550 and the lead!

There's a new top dollar lurking on the wheel, it's $3,500! Now, the next category I hope isn't Phrase... it ain't, it's wordplay with Same Name!



Shirley takes the first spin of the round and she will have a $450 S, but that amount will go right back to Bankrupt. Alan lands on $700, but no Ts can be found. Larry lands on the sole $150 where there are no Rs. Shirley tries it again and finds an L and N, the latter on $3,500! She has $4,000 at the moment and she will buy two As. Her next spin is the blue $400 and she calls a bad P. Alan has a little bad luck with Bankrupt, so it's over to Larry and he insists there be an R, but there still isn't! Shirley calls the pair of Cs on the orange $900 and there, she spends $250 on two Os. She spins one more time for the K...

There's a silvery $5,000 wedge now on the wheel and this wedge named PIANO just slid right in. That's a $7,315 piano! After a round of avoiding it, Phrase is back.



Alan will start the fourth round by filling in the second round in its entirety, by choosing T, H, and E. He fills in the third word next with Y, followed by a purchase of I. He spins again for the N and then makes a bad purchase with a dud A. Larry is now in control, but not for long with a bad R on the orange $400. Shirley makes a bit of money with a C and then spends half on a dud O. Alan spins once and selects L...



Alan is IN THE PUBLIC EYE when he solved that and $2,550 puts him in the lead!

Larry begins Round 5 with a T for $600, followed by him picking up the Piano and calling the S for $300 under it! He's on the pink $300 next, but there are no Ns. Shirley gives it a spin and the wheel Bankrupts her out of her turn. Alan gives the wheel a strong spin and it's the red $250, but R isn't there. Before Larry could spin again...
