_ _ _ _
EVENT
Josh has earned the right to begin, and he does so by hitting $400 for the dud T. Rene gets a couple N's and an R, but there are no O's, so Bea gets it now. Her first spin is $300 - the one with the FREE SPIN on it, which she plucks with a G! With an S on her next spin, she adds the SONY STYLE gift tag to her collection as well, but that collection will be down the Free Spin, because Bea repeats the G she called earlier and hands it in. She gets a W and buys a pair of E's, but then comes BANKRUPT to clean her out. Josh gets control back, at least long enough to miss with the D. Rene gets the B but then LOSE A TURN strikes her, so Bea gets it again. She gets the K up, the last consonant:
B R E _ K _ N G
N E W S
EVENT
and solves BREAKING NEWS for $300, which is upped to the $500 house minimum.
Duds: T (Josh), O (Rene), D (Josh)
Bankrupt: Bea ($100 + gift tag)
Lose a Turn: Rene
DQ: Bea's repeated G (Free Spin used)

SAME NAME
Rene has a chance to redeem her earlier misfortunes, and a $3,500 T is the way to do it! She buys an E, which means only $3,250 of that cash is BANKRUPTed on her next spin. Bea takes over - and her second spin is the MEXICO trip, which she gets with an R! Unfortunately, it's going to be sitting there awhile - she repeats the previously called E. Josh will try to bounce back now, but he bounces a bad C instead. Rene gets three L's and a couple A's up before hitting the JACKPOT... but finding no D's. Bea has her turn back - she puts up a trio of I's and the final consonants (two P's):
A I R L I N E / &

CLUE
Big puzzle, and it begins with Bea. She likes the number $800 - first for a pair of T's, and then for FOUR N's - a $4,800 start! After lots of A's, O's and E's, she spins up $400 each for FIVE R's! She buys the single I (the last of the vowels, which goes unannounced), then gets a couple F's at $300 each. But after all that, here comes the old BANKRUPT to steal away all her money. Josh gets three S's on $400 before hitting the MYSTERY! There are two P's, but he's going to risk his money to find... BANKRUPT. Rene will try once more to get on the board, and she gets all but the last letter up:
S P A N I S H / _ O R D
F O R / A F T E R N O O N
R E S T / O R / N A P
CLUE
and solves SPANISH WORD FOR AFTERNOON REST OR NAP for $1,000... but she'll add $3,000 more for identifying SIESTA!
Bankrupt: Bea ($6,400), Josh ($1,200 risked on Mystery)
Bea: $7,475 cash and trip
Josh: $2,000
Rene: $4,000

ROUND 4 (Full Speedup):
No time left... let's see the puzzle before Pat spins...
_ _ _ _ / _ _ / _ _
_ _ _ _ _ / _ _
PHRASE
Pat's spin just flips off the $5,000 - so all consonants are worth $1,600 in the speed round. After four fails, Bea breaks through with a lone L, but it's way too early to solve. Josh finds a V... but having only one means the answer is not "LOVE IT..." which he doesn't even finish. Rene calls for the trio of T's... but her solve is clearly beaten by the buzzer. Bea gets the K...
T _ K _ / _ T / _ _
L _ _ V _ / _ T
PHRASE
and solves TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT for $3,200!
Duds: S (Rene), N (Bea), F (Josh), D (Rene)
Missed Solves: Josh's "LOVE IT..." and Rene's correct (but late) solve
Bea: $10,675 cash and trip
Josh: $2,000
Rene: $7,000
We're going to check the tapes, but it looks like Bea is off to Bonusland!
BONUS ROUND:
Rene was indeed beaten by the buzzer, so Bea is here and she spins the A in CASH.

PHRASE
RSTLNE should help her out...

PHRASE
and maybe ABCD will too...

PHRASE
Not much additional help, and although she does know the last two words, the first word of WAIT IT OUT eludes her. It's a painful loss - made even more painful by the contents of the envelope... it's $100,000! But she still goes away with $10,675 in combined cash and a trip to Mexico.
