For those of you who receive Wheel of Fortune on a CBS affiliate, the show may be pre-empted this Thursday, due to NFL Football. It looks like the game is scheduled to end at 7:30 PM, which will pre-empt Wheel in my area, and it will most likely run overtime. My affiliate (WBZ) usually reruns the episodes during the wee hours, such as on Fridays because of Patriots All Access, but I checked the schedule and there does not seem to be a make-up for the Thursday show in my area.

I get two different CBS affiliates in my area, but I also get CBC Montreal, which will show Wheel as normal at 4:30 PM.

...And mine ABC, but those markets suffer from quite a few pre-emptions, too. Most recently a Breaking News report on Steve Jobs' death. The independent markets (non-affiliates) are the luckiest.

Now you know how WABC viewers feel.  Pre-emptions of Wheel and Jeopardy! are never rescheduled for overnight, but sometimes, they'll push back the rest of the week by one day with Friday's show airing Saturday. Maybe WBZ will do that instead. Do they air the previous-season reruns on Saturdays at all, or is the 7-8 hour strictly reserved for something else? |

They do air previous season reruns, but there's usually trouble there as well, because of College Football. And I do not believe WBZ has ever done that, but maybe they would if there was something significant.

Where I'm from, WKRN ABC Nashville preempts Wheel every Tuesday night (used to be Wednesdays) to air Titans on 2 with Mike Muncheck at 6:30. They air the Wheel episode at 1:30 AM Wednesday morning. (I just go to my neighbor's house and watch it on WPSD NBC Paducah). If sports run over on Saturday, they most times will rerun the previous season Wheel episode on Sunday afternoon.

Yeah, WPSD is my affiliate, and they're usually very reliable. I'd share a Web feed of it if I knew of one, but to my knowledge there is none.

Thanks for the link, Kev. I used to watch a stream on seeon.tv at 7 PM EST, but the site recently got shut down. Too bad that's a west coast stream. There is an east coast version on that site, but I can't see it thanks to an ad that won't go away.
