Time for some Season 13 recaps!

Lots and lots can be given away today, here at Sony Pictures Studios! Who will be receiving? These three contestants, who are all teens because it's Teen Week!

Krista Kirksey: Student council president who plays quite a lot of sports.
Cameron Griffith: High school freshman, also plays a lot of sports.
Melissa Mimithwa: Going to be a senior in high school.

Now that we've met these three teenagers, let's get on with the game!

I like the Free Spin there... and good for me too, it will stay there for this whole Season, so I don't think the Free Spin Location thing needs to be here again.



The top dollar value for Round 1 is $1,000, but starting this Season, it is not pink any more. Instead, it's taken up a sparkly new appearance, in its green form. Also on the wheel is that Free Spin plus the Surprise. We're starting with cash plus wordplay - Before & After, the category for this first puzzle.



Just before the show, numbers were drawn and Krista took #1 so she'll be spinning first. She hits $450 and insantly duds with T. Cameron gives the wheel a spin and he repeats Krista's spin for an S. Then he uncovers three Ls for $600 and glides past $1,000 onto $200 for a pair of Rs. He goes into vowel buying, spending $250 on a quintet of As! Then he passes Bankrupt and lights up a $350 D, plus three Es with his next buy. He makes a close call with the Free Spin & Suprise on his next two spins - putting up the H & X before dudding with K on the blue $300. Melissa calls the M, B, & G...

Cameron will start Round 2 and he quickly duds with R on $800. Melissa spins the wheel and calls a triple T for $500 a piece. She completes the first word with two duos of Hs and Es, but duds with a P on the orange $400. Krista takes her second spin and lights up a $700 M. Then she uncovers three Ns after gliding past Double Play onto $400 and spins one more time to cash in with an L...

It's the third round, which means the template is upgraded and all of the cardboard from Round 2 has returned... except the Free Spin. $3,500 is the top dollar value for Round 3, but now the $10,000 slice is on the wheel, surrounded by two Bankrupt slices and quite the cash prize if you pick it up and solve the puzzle. Now we'll look at a People puzzle.



Melissa's in Blue, so she'll start Round 3 and she chooses a $900 T plus an S giving her a $1,300 total. She purchases a triple E and picks a single N for $800 more. After lighting up the pair of Ls, she calls a bad M on the red $500. Krista hits the pink $300 and passes her turn over with a dud F. Cameron calls that R, but LATs, so we're back to Melissa. She spins and lands on $1,000 for a B! After a U buy...

Prize on Wheel #2: It's a wedge called SPACE, but nothing is told about it. If you want to know what that's about, hope someone wins it.



Now we've got half the Round 3 template plus half of a new upgraded template, everything's still on the wheel including that keyboard plus the $10,000 slice. Things is the Round 4 category and this one requires an ampersand.



Krista will start this round & she hits Lose a Turn on her second spin to leave the $1,600 she got from two Ns on the table. Cameron repeats Krista's second spin of the round, so we move on to Melissa. She calls an L for $400, but then duds with a T on the blue $250. Krista has her turn back and she hits the Surprise and picks it up with a couple Ps! That ends this four round rut of no one touching cardboard and now we'll see if she can keep it. She spins again and clings on to $400, but calls a bad H to keep the Surprise sitting. Back to Cameron and he puts up a triple R on $400, followed by a $550 hit (Pat mistakenly says $500) and Cameron lights up two Ys. He spins once more and after some silence, he calls the N...



That silence must've depleted all of the time, Pat'll now give the wheel one last spin!

Apparently, Bankrupts are contagious these days. Well, we can't have that, so we'll try it again!

Very generous! Now Melissa must pick three more consonants plus a vowel, she goes for B... M... the uncommon K... and that dud E which comes from the original package. She'll have to replace it and she does, picking the uncommon U next. (BMKU)



Somehow, there's a K! But that's all there is. Let's see if she can't solve it...

She can't drive off in the car, but she might be able to return on Friday if someone wins low and loses the Bonus Round. If she doesn't make it, she still has $5,600 which is an all-cash total!
