I know that there's the problem that no one can type letters in it and I really would like to play it.
My PC is a Windows 7, so would Virtual PC or DOSBox work? If so, please help me.

DOSBox--no. Virtual PC--I think. I've heard others say that it has. I have never tried it to know for sure.

If you're talking about the GameTek version with the interlocking W contestant backdrops, DOSBox will NOT work. Virtual PC, however, does. For reference, I use Virtual PC 2007 with Windows 98 installed on it. I don't believe anything newer will work.
