I'm sure a lot of you remember the Wheel day-to-day calendars that went on sale every year. If you don't, they were tear-off calendars where each day had a partially filled-in puzzle and its answer would be on the back of the day's page, revealed when it was torn off. Some puzzles were even under the bonus categories, including Fill in the Number.
There are also Jeopardy! calendars with a similar premise: a category and clue is given on a certain day, then its question is found out the next day (as long as you don't cheat by peeking). They still make them today, but the last Wheel calendar to be released was for 2003. Does anyone know why they don't make them anymore?

Popularity, then availibility. The Jeopardy! calendar is more popular, I think, than the Wheel calendar ever was. I know I can always find the Jeopardy! calendar at my local bookstore. The Wheel calendar was never in stock whenever I checked.

Apparently, the last Wheel calendar was 2003 if I'm right. I have only one (from 2000), but I also seen the covers from 2001-2003. There was one from 1999 that I pictures of off of Ebay.
I remember seeing one from 1995 on Ebay a few years ago. I still wish I took the picture from there, especially since I know where I first saw it. For those who remember the 3000th syndicated episode from 1998, where Pat said that Wheel seemed to be everywhere, there are all these merchandise related to Wheel and a couple comics with Wheel involved. One of the items was the 1995 calendar. If anyone finds a pic of it, please let us know.

The Wheel calendar was never in stock whenever I checked. What years did you check? They stopped making them in 2002. I don't see how the J! ones could outsell the Wheel ones to the point of discontinuing it. One would think they sold about the same. Does anyone have any pictures of calendars prior to 2000? I believe the 1997 or 98 one was simply the logo as featured on the 1995 Tiger game packaging against a purple background, correct? Also, when did they START making them?

I know I checked every year they were made and I never found the Wheel calendars, only the Jeopardy! ones. Perhaps it's because I'm in Canada?
Also, when checking around this year, the Jeopardy! day-to-day calendar was nowhere to be found.
