PLACE (PP)
Deanna went two for two on the opening toss-ups, and she gets to open the maingame proper by hitting upon the left side of the Oreo wedge - that's a BANKRUPT, so we go on to Casey. She misses the R on the gift tag to send things around to Ben, who gets us going with a $800 T and a pair of $900 L's. He presses on for a P, but there's none and thus we've come full circle back to Deanna. She gets up to $600 with an N but misses the M, sending it back to Casey. After a $300 S and an unlucky hit on the right side of the Oreo, Ben has his turn back. He decides to buy vowels and finds two E's but no A, which means we start our third pass with Deanna's next turn. The lack of a D means Casey now gets her third chance, and she picks up the XM RADIO gift tag with a B! She gets on a roll, accumulating a little cash and buying all the vowels before hitting the center of the Oreo wedge! That $10,000 prize is hers with the single G, but with two letters left... she calls a bad K. As the audience groans, Ben attempts a solve:
E _ C L U S I _ E
N I G H T C L U B
PLACE (PP)
and for $2,100 in cash, he identifies the EXCLUSIVE NIGHTCLUB, which he may get to visit on his Prize Puzzle trip to Miami! LastMinuteTravel.com will be taking Ben's talents to South Beach at a value of $4,000! Meanwhile, Casey waves a sad farewell to $11,550 in potential winnings - the bonus wedge, gift tag, and $550 in cash are all gone due to that bad letter call.
Duds: R (Casey), P (Ben), M (Deanna), A (Ben), D (Deanna), K (Casey)
Bankrupt: Deanna (loss of turn), Casey ($300)
Ben: $6,100 cash and trip
Deanna: $3,000

Three spins later, she hits the shiny $3,500 wedge... but there's no R. Ben has control again, and he goes on a run of his own, including picking up the SONY ERICSSON gift tag (Walkman phone package including Wheel mobile game) with a trio of D's! With the puzzle almost completed, he moves in for the finisher...
