As the 30th Anniversary of WHEEL OF FORTUNE draws near, viewers are suggesting they kick off the Anniversary somewhere big. Where do you think the show should kick off the season?

They definitely need to kick off the season on location. I think either New York (where they also celebrated Season 25 and the 4000th episode) or Washington DC (not visited since 2000, also appropriate for celebrating America's Game) would be the best place.

Personally, if they go on location anywhere for the premiere, I'd suggest they go back to Radio City Music Hall. Lots of good memories there for both Wheel and Jeopardy.

Anywhere other than Vegas.

The one place I've always wanted to visit in the U.S. (besides Vegas ) - Miami. Though I was tempted to go for New York...

I'd suggest they go back to Radio City Music Hall. Lots of good memories there for both Wheel and Jeopardy. Jeopardy!, probably. Wheel, especially in '88... not so much. As for the topic, how about somewhere they've never been to, ever? Like Juneau? As the 30th Anniversary of WHEEL OF FORTUNE draws near, viewers are suggesting they kick off the Anniversary somewhere big. Where do you think the show should kick off the season? Problem: the 30th Anniversary was back in 2005, and they did nothing for it. Of course, despite the fact it hasn't stopped airing, you're talking about the 30th nighttime season.

Considering the lack of a second location this year, I'd actually be willing to take Vegas. Though I chose home base anyway.

I chose New York because it was the first place they went, but I think anywhere they've never been east of the Mississippi River will do even better. I've had enough western states for awhile.

I know Vegas has been beaten to death, but I'm a bit tired of New York right now too. Chicago (Pat Sajak's from there, yes?) sounds good.

New York or Philadelphia since I live right by both and would hopefully get on the show or at least see a taping! But really NY would be a great choice because it was their first road trip location and they're also great shows.

NYC. I'd also like to see a newer, throwback set with the automatic spinning wheel.

A throwback set would be awesome or a myriad of all decades from the 70's-present for a now and then look to the show with the old lighted curtain coming down when Pat comes out from behind the wheel that has the 90's firework backdrops actually standing behind the wheel while the puzzleboard has the look of the '81 border with the central monitor and wheel itself being the only traces of neon. The Curtain would then be parted by Vanna when she is introduced and does her twirl

I think they should come to Saint Louis, Missouri. I think the Arch would be a perfect backdrop for the show

I like San Francisco. I think the last episode from there was taped before I was born. I don't know if it was taped after my birth or not.
