Hello everybody, I am so excited to see that such forums exist. I know everybody says this but I am undoubtedly the show's biggest fan. My name is Arthur and I am 22 years old from Toronto. I love the show so much that I actually got the show's logo tattooed on my forearm as seen here www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=392550438182&set=a.392550293182.170421.501668182&type=3&theaterIn 2009 the Toronto Star wrote an article about how the show has a very special place in my heart for a very special reason that you can read here www.thestar.com/article/689540Based on that article the show invited my mom and I to come to a taping and give the big wheel a spin in between shows. You can see that picture here twitpic.com/186m7tI am looking forward to connecting with you guys!!!

AJ, holy cow! Your story is fantastically inspirational and touching, that's amazing! I love your reason for why you enjoy the Free Spin- never thought of it that way, but why not? I'm glad to have a member like you on board. I only question why Wheel hasn't picked you yet, you deserve it- too bad Sony's made it that much harder for Canucks to get on these days. Welcome aboard!

I'm glad to have a member like you on board. I only question why Wheel hasn't picked you yet, you deserve it- too bad Sony's made it that much harder for Canucks to get on these days. Welcome aboard! To answer your question I'm more or less disqualified from being on the show because of my 'relations' with the show. I keep in regular contact with the producers so they told me I'm now considered a 'friend' of the show. My mom and I have been down a few times and will be going back down later this year and each time we're giving 'Production Guest' stickers anytime we're in the audience. They usually get me to stand up for a second and tell the audience how Wheel has special place in my heart. Also, the show took pictures of my tattoos and I had to sign a voluntary consent form saying they could use the pictures in any way they saw fit. Well last year during the lunch break I was at the gas station across the street from the studio and a woman goes "I think that's him" as she points at me. It turns out that this woman was a contestant that day and told me that the show not only showed her the article but also pictures of my tattoos. Spinning the wheel was a dream come true for me, I watch the show daily and am still in disbelief I got to give the infamous wheel a tug. Sure it was my dream to be a contestant but having a special bond with the show that lasted longer than 22 minutes as a contestant is beyond priceless and beyond anything I could have ever imagined.

Welcome to the site, Arthur. Your connections and stories are pretty nice, I must admit. Our members include contestants, and even one of the show's graphic designers (Tommy Hall). Anytime you go to a taping, we'd love to hear about it both before (with SpoilerGuard®) and after the episode airs -- contestants and taping-attenders are how we learn about some interesting things that didn't make it to air because of editing...er, "geniuses". I know everybody says this but I am undoubtedly the show's biggest fan. Check out the Video Collection, and if you don't recognize the people named "Chuck" or "Susan" nor the words "Daytime" or "NBC" (or for that matter, the presence of any year before 1983), trust me...you'll like getting to know them. too bad Sony's made it that much harder for Canucks to get on these days. Come on, Prizes, you should know the answer by now -- because they're smart. ... The Canucks, not Sony.
