The show has finally made an official YouTube account. Right now, the only thing uploaded is a generic promo. The account isn't being advertised on the main site yet. Hopefully there will be more videos soon. Here's the link: www.youtube.com/user/wheeloffortuneIMO, they should have done this a long time ago. They could or could have uploaded all those flashback clips they showed throughout S25 (which are currently buried in the Wheel Watchers site). The Vanna For a Day contest would have been so much more efficient if they let entries be uploaded on YouTube.

It appears they've been on YT since '05, but they just uploaded a video a month ago...strange. Maybe we'll see behind the scenes footage like The Price is Right models do for Price's YT channel.

Actually, the channel wasn't created by them. It was created by some guy who only did it for the sake of having that username. These people are commonly referred to as "name wasters". Since those people usually don't do anything with their channels, rather than the show having to make a more complex username such as "wheeloffortunetv", the people at YouTube just give access for the "wheeloffortune" channel to the show. I visited the channel before the show took over and like other channels of that type, people just posted in the channel comments things like "OMG NAME WASTER!" Those comments have been removed now.
Exact same story for TPIR's YouTube channel.

I understand you made this thread finally since there's a valid-looking BG, and you said before the commercial had a template master look to it, but how about we wait for a couple real videos first?

I know, but I figure now would be a good time for anyone with an account to subscribe to the channel.

YES!! But they did joined in 2005, so why they didn't posted videos tell Wheel Watchers for a long time? And also, do you have Official Jeopardy channel on YT?

A few posts above is an explanation as to why the channel existed since 2005.
And, no, I couldn't find a Jeopardy! channel. The username JEOPARDY (styled like that) is currently taken by somebody who actually uses the channel regularly. I tried various other names they might use, but they either don't exists or are taken by semi-regular users.

They've added a few videos, namely Caitlin Burke's one-letter solve (with Johnny Gilbert intact, surprisingly), the $1,000,000 win, and the surprise reunion during Military Spouses Week.

Finally some activity. But they're still not advertising the channel anywhere. They should make one of those banners that most YouTube partners have.
What's up with the aspect ratio on the $1M win video?
Not counting that one, it looks like these are taken straight from the masters. The military reunion clip doesn't do the "window" effect for the credits. Maybe someday, they'll upload certain bloopers and outtakes like on Family Feud's YouTube channel...
Also, listen for the "screaming woman" at :42 in the military reunion clip. I didn't realize they used the cheering track during that moment until now. I think that's kind of disrespectful that they're artificially sweetening genuine applause to a touching moment like that if you ask me. This isn't a sitcom...
