I did a thread on favorite Jeopardy sets. Now I decided to do one on favorite Jeopardy themes (I mean the theme music: the main theme and the FJ Think! cue).
We all know that the main theme and FJ think music were remixed a lot during the Alex Trebek era. So what's your favorite Jeopardy theme?
First we had the original main theme with synthesizers and saxophones, which was remixed several years later with bongos, and the original 1964 Think! music from the Art Fleming era was retained for FJ! Then we had the jazzy rendition of the main theme and a more modern-sounding FJ! Think cue (first it had only a piano lead, but a few weeks later it was remixed to include a trumpet lead in the second verse). Then we had a sped-up remix of the jazzy theme. And most recently, we had the current renditions of the main theme and think arranged by Chris Bell Music.
As many of you remember when the current music package debuted, we didn't have the electric guitar in the main theme until the second section of improvs, and we had the "leaky faucet" Think! cue, but both were slightly re-orchestrated: the electric guitar was used throughout the entire main theme, and the FJ! think was remixed to de-emphasize the "leaky faucet" percussion.

I like the 1998 theme the most. I love it when classic themes are jazzed up with big bands.

My favorite Jeopardy! theme is the 1984 version-the original for the Trebek run, along with the original Think! music cue used at that time.
