This idea for a customizable WOF game is awesome! I must say that I like all the ideas that everyone has pitched in. My idea would be like everyone else's, but kind of different. Here is my idea placement for the game.
-contestant customizer (age, gender, height) -both puzzle boards (switchable) -all add-on wedges -bonus wheel or WHEEL podium (switchable) -special week locations around the U.S. (i.e. Radio City Music Hall, Disney World) -Pat & Vanna -customize outfits for Vanna & Pat -Chuck & Susan hosting (DLC) -shopping for prizes (DLC) -wheel customizer (DLC) -downloadable outfits for Hosts (DLC) -Wheel Around the World (DLC) -Red Letter Puzzles (DLC) -DLC categories (i.e. Megaword, Slang, Clue, The 20's-90's, etc.)
and many more!
Add-On Wedge List -Free Play Wedge -Wild Card -Gift Tags -Jackpot (all different wedges available) -Million Dollar Wedge -$1000 Mystery Wedge -Different Prize Wedges -Surprise (unlockable) -Free Spin Token -Double Play Token (unlockable) -$10,000 Wedge -1/2 Car Wedge (unlockable) -$500 Mystery Wedge (unlockable) -Big Money Wedge (unlockable) -25th Anniversary Wedge (unlockable) -April Fools Day Bankrupt Wedge (unlockable) -Old School Free Spin Wedge (unlockable) -Star Bonus (unlockable)
This game will probably make it on Xbox 360 and PS3. Come on people, lets make this work! This game needs to be made!

Boy there sure are way more ideas then I would have imagined. Let's hope BigJon06 doesn't see this thread. He has enough options coming as it is. However, you have to remember that this would be a video game for everyone to play. You can't just cram it with features that only hardcore Wheel fans would care about, while the average casual viewer/fan who bought the game would be like, "What the heck is 'Star Bonus'?" I'm not saying these ideas are bad, but I think that a lot of them are very unlikely, especially Chuck and Susan being in the game. You'd have a better chance of finding the full 1994 theme than having just one of them agree to ever be involved with Wheel again. Anyway, my point is that a WOF video game has to appeal to everyone, not just people who watch the show every day. Otherwise, the game wouldn't sell very well, which would hurt the possibility of any future editions. I'm pretty confident that THQ's recent releases did well, both with sales and critical acclaim (even though most of the reviews I've found outside of Amazon are from UK gaming sites). I hope they announce a new edition at this year's E3, but I doubt it. But I think we all agree that it needed more content. If I was in charge of a new edition, this is what I would want to put in it, while still keeping non-hardcore Wheel fans in mind: - Toss Ups would be optional for those who want to get to the actual wheel spinning. Also, players will be able to pass around one controller.
- Players choose a time limit for the game based on a number of rounds or minutes, much like the Hasbro PC games. Once time expires, the Final Spin happens. If a certain number of rounds is chosen, the last one is always a full Speed-Up round.
- Toss Up games, like the iOS games.
- More locations/sets, including New Orleans and at least one set with the manual puzzle board. I would like it to also have the configurations, add-ons, and bonus round format of that era (preferably mid-90s).
- The console versions would support keyboards to make guessing and solving easier.
- Team mode, allowing up to 6 players.
- Also allowing for more players, a tournament mode.
- More mini-games, plus more use for motion controls, as well as the ability to play them outside of multiplayer mode.
- Players can view the puzzle board and used letter board at any time they're not on screen by holding down a button. Pressing another button reveals the banner at the top of the screen that show's the players' totals. After all, real-life contestants get to see these at every moment.
- The game would be for ALL current systems: Wii, PS3, 360, 3DS, PSP (not counting the recent 3DS, PSP is among one of the only systems that has yet to have a Wheel or Jeopardy! game, which is odd considering it's Sony)
- They would all be retail releases, not downloadable like the current PS3/PSN version.
- The PS3 version would be compatible with the Playstation Move peripheral, but not required. Either Move or the normal Dualshock 3 controller would work.
- The 360 version would support Kinect, but I don't think I've seen any Kinect games where it's not required. A normal 360 controller would also work.
- In the handheld versions (3DS and PSP), you can take a picture with the system's camera, and it can be used as the background behind the contestants.
- The handheld versions would allow multiplayer either via "Pass and Play" like the current iOS and DS games, or local wireless, where another system is required, which only the iOS version supports (the DS version of Jeopardy!, which is developed by the same team, does have this feature. They must have been too lazy to put it in Wheel.)
- More unlockables, including clips from the show.
- All versions would have online play and online leaderboards.
- The console versions would allow additional puzzles to be downloaded. It could also be a possibility for the handheld versions.
- Changeable difficulty for Bonus Round puzzles.
- Pat, Vanna, and the Season 29 announcer, of course.
- IMPROVED COMPUTER PLAYER INTELLIGENCE. Even on the hardest difficulty, the computer players in the current Wii and DS versions don't do the show justice. In the Wii version, they take way too long to ring in on Toss Ups, use the Wild Card on amounts as low as $600, pick vowels too often in the Speed-Up round, almost always solve for the house minimum, and never get the puzzles until there are about four letters left, yet they always win the Bonus Round if you choose to watch it. In the DS version, they ALWAYS pick "H" on their first or second spin, never guess vowels on Free Play, and sometimes randomly pick Q, X, or Z. Most importantly, they never do the occasional "quick solve" on the Toss Ups, or follow the proper strategies, like -ING first, or "S" first for plural categories. This game would be the perfect tool for practicing for the show.
Now, this is where I might seem a bit...hypocritcial , as in, here are things I'D like to see, but are less likely than the above. - Downloadable sets and puzzle packs, with each having a theme, like sports, music, and school.
- Additional downloadable outfits for your avatar and/or Pat and Vanna.
- The ability to create your own puzzles and upload them so the developers don't have to do all the puzzle pack work on there own. I have a game for the Wii that does something like this called "TV Show King 2." You can upload your own multiple choice trivia questions to a server where it is checked for accuracy, spelling, grammar, and appropriateness.
- A custom game creator. Not only do you choose the set, but you can also choose a wheel, or even make one yourself. The wheel creator would allow any value between $0 and $10,000, plus any add-ons from the nighttime era, except the 80s version of the Jackkpot wedge. Some of the classic add-ons would need to be unlocked after playing a few games in certain scenarios. The wedge colors would be chosen from a pallete. The highest value is automatically made sparkly. A wheel must have at least one penalty wedge, but cannot have more than half the wheel covered with them. Wheels can be sent to friends for their own use. Also, you can even choose the price of vowels from a set of pre-set amounts ranging from $50 to $2,000. A custom game can be played locally or you can host one online.
What would you all call your dream WOF game? I would call it "Wheel of Fortune: Ultimate Edition." Here's a boxart I made for the Wii version. Note the "Pay & Play" logo at the top. This is because I feel if there were additional sets and puzzles available, they would want us to pay money for them. I made boxarts for the other platforms, too. I just don't want to post so many images of basically the same thing in one post. If anyone wants to see any of the other versions, please let me know. EDIT: Something I always thought of, just forgot to post it. At audition events for the show, while people wait, they could have TVs set up with the Wii version ready to play so people can practice and play against other Wheel fans. I don't see why they can't do this with the current Wii version.

I We can made pop-out description Example, your pointer lands on Million Wedge. A description will Pop-out ( can be disabled) YOu won't get a million per each consonant appear but if you can follow this rule 1. Solve this puzzle 2. Doesn't hit bankrupt for the rest of the game 3. Win the game You has a change to win a million dollar in the bonus round

The pop-up description for wedges is a good idea; so those people who don't know what any of the wedges are can know how to use them properly. For instance, the "Star Bonus" would allow any contestant who landed on it to play for a special bonus prize at the end of the show. The contestant was given a choice of three different puzzles of increasing difficulty. The more difficult the puzzle, the more expensive the prize, with the most expensive prize being a $13,000 car. If the player was able to solve the puzzle, they would win the prize and, if it was worth enough money, would win the game. This would pop-up for anyone who doesn't know what it is.

Till drop mode. Use returning champion, once you out. Game over Champion mode. Use returning champion. Contestant must collect as money as they can so they will qualified for Tournament of Champion. The winner will go to Ultimate TOC < Tournament Mode.Statistically or bracket. For the pop-up description example is coming No, trucks in the US are around $25,000. The car's probably a Kia or a Hyundai. As for the hosting method, I don't think Chuck and Susan would want to be in it.
