This one's for all those America Wheel fans who live in Canada, but I also created this with Odieville2 in mind since he lives in Quebec and speaks French. I don't know how many Canadian Wheel fans know that they had a version of their own back in the 80s and 90s called "La Roue Chanceuse," which means "Lucky Wheel." Here are some videos of French Canadian Wheel, starting with a clip from an episode. A 1991 commercial with the French Canadian theme, which has a striking similarity with our 80s theme. Same thing as the 1991 commercial only it's from the year before and with their own "I'm a Wheel Watcher" theme. A 1989 promo featuring how the Wheel evolved. Part of a news show that talks about Lyne Sarrazin, Quebec's Vanna White. Opening from a 1989 episode. A collection of commericals which include promos for "La Roue Chanceuse" (3:32) and "Jeopardy!" (7:13). And here is a collection of all the French Canadian Wheels that I've done plus a few illustrations featuring "La Roue Chanceuse." germanname.deviantart.com/gallery/?q=roue+chanceuseAs for this illustration I did back in early 2008, germanname.deviantart.com/art/La-Roue-Chanceuse-79486749 I'm having doubts about whether the red 250$ space next to the 500$ space should be 250$ or 350$.

No problem.
BTW, here's another promo.
I also forgot to show the collection of commercials featuring La Roue (3:32) and Jeopardy! (7:13), but here it is.

Thanks. Here's another promo featuring TQS programs. Warning, if you hate commercial songs and jingles with lyrics like I do, please mute before pressing play.

In fairness, the La Roue footage (which begins at :32) has a shot of the shopping list...and to the left of it, the flip-up cards for their Used Letter Board.

Well, I'm still very excited over the fact that I'm about to get that Live Play game at long last, but just when I thought things could not get any better at this point, here's something else we've also been waiting about as long just to see. Enjoy, ladies and gentlemen.

Some more videos from 1989 giving us some interesting information. One, although the price of vowels is 250$, they otherwise work the same way as France's version as you don't have to pay the fee if the vowel is not in the puzzle, although you still lose your turn. Two, there can be more than one Speed-Up Round similar to the Australian version's later years. Three, the green 125$ next to the 500$ space in Rounds 2 and 3 has been brought up to 325$.

As someone who lives in the province of Quebec, I too can answer questions anyone might have. Here is another episode from the series: I'm guessing it's from later on because if you look at the puzzleboard, the inside is yellow and not dark like it was before.

There are also some changes to the Free Spin element. I have seen some intro clips with the Free Spin token, but I never got to see it in action and wasn't sure as to what digit was underneath it. Recently, however, I had a feeling it was a 150$ space. This episode confirms it and as for the name, it's a different one much to my surprise. Tour Gratuit becomes Tour Libre. The rules for it are the same as the 1989-1990 rules.

Here's a 1989 episode. Christian is the returning champion with $9550. How will he fare against Ghyslen and Danielle?

Here's another episode from 1989. Celine is the returning champion with $2100 worth of prizes, but she has some competition against the witty France and the enthusiastic Denis. I wonder how things will go here.

Nope, it was one that Chris2788 mentioned earlier, but how about this to freshen things up? Here's a promo from the show's later years with a few things to note here and there.
