Hi. Back in the 80's, Wheel of Fortune came to my college campus (SMU) with tryouts for college week. I tried out (didn't make it). But one thing they gave out as a consolation prize was a deck of cards (standard playing cards) with a Wheel of Fortune logo stamped on it. I never opened the deck, so it's still in the plastic wrap. This is the side showing the back of the card: This is the other side of the package, just showing the box: There's no manufacturer, no printer, no printing date, nothing. I've just had it in a drawer since 1988 or so. This is the deck I was given (they also gave water bottles, tshirts, and other stuff like that). I just stuck it in a drawer. Has anyone else seen this? I can't find another one online anywhere. Thanks for any help anyone can give me. - Lady Timedramon MOVED to Buying Your Time...this is a question about merchandise acquired from the actual TV show. It's fine here.

Looks pretty nice. Never heard of it, though -- it may be Bicycle/The United States Playing Card Company (they've done stuff for game shows over the years and issued decks with company logos on the back), but the "front" of the box doesn't really mesh with any Bicycle designs I'm aware of. From your wording, I presume there's nothing indicative on the sides, top, or bottom of the box, either. I never opened the deck, so it's still in the plastic wrap. Unfortunately, the only suggestion I can think of is to open it and pull out the Ace of Spades -- those (and sometimes the Joker{s}, if there are any) usually show the manufacturer; alternately, there may be "special" cards (not of the standard 52 +1-2) that would basically do the same. (Also, welcome to the site. )

Don't all card decks contain Jokers? (2 of them, of course) I haven't found a single deck of cards that do not contain Jokers.

My grandparents have a similar deck of cards. They are not Wheel branded, but the box is otherwise identical. I reckon those are Hoyle cards, based on the ones my grandparents have.
