And finally, here they are against a background and podiums. Excellent job on the artwork, Mario. I wonder what the vector "eggcrate" design would look like...?

Exactly Mario! With your permission, is it possible if you could please create one? If not, it's OK.

Not too shabby, MarioGS. They look very realistic.
Something to note, I'm looking at the podiums from season 7 and before, and the lights seem pretty faded. By season 10, the lights are much brighter.

^I'm pretty sure that's because the displays used through Season 7 had been in place since 1977 or '78. I'm surprised that "no dollar sign for scores of $10,000+" glitch(?) didn't happen before October 1989, really...
The lights became brighter when the displays were overhauled around August 1990.

Mario, those eggcrate digits look virtually realistic. Is it OK if I use them for any other game show artwork?

I don't have any other backdrops just yet.
Those look like they're coming along great! Might I suggest getting some glitter paper or confetti sheets to use on the W's?

That'd be something to consider, DJ - using glitter.
Anyway, MarioGS, I was thinking about using your backdrops for something I plan to put over at DeviantArt and YouTube. You wouldn't mind if I used these backdrops at all, would you? If you don't mind, do you want me to mention you?

Of course you can use them. You don't have to explicitly credit me if you don't want to.

I am in the process of working on realistic classic puzzle letters that I plan on sharing on this thread. The letters are created already, and now all I have to do is make the white backgrounds transparent with Photoshop. I hope to have the classic letters posted sometime after the forum upgrade.

Well, I still had some money left in the budget after replacing my scoreboards...so I decided to refurbish my video wall. And that's what happened to me.
