What font do you use for the trilon board, wheelgenius? I like that style board and if I decide to run a shopping era Wheel here, I plan on using that.
Edit: Oh, and while I'm at it, somebody should do matching flippers for that board like the ones posted earlier in the thread for the current set. I'd do it if my PowerPoint skills were that awesome.

I think you should really ask that question to MarioGS. He's the one who made those letters. He may have modified it from Rockwell, but there's another font that also looks pretty similar to the old puzzle board's font. I came across it a while back. Here's a sample of the font, Cairo.

The J and Q are noticeably different from the puzzleboard font, but it's not a bad substitute from what I see.

Rockewell Condesned (make it bold) it what he used for the letters. The only reason I know is that he is has made puzzle boards for me in the past and that he the font he told me to use.

I thought I'd share some of the work Mario has done for me in the past. Here's the 1997-2003 Contestant Podiums. 1997-2003 Puzzle Board (I made the JACKPOT logo myself. That was my early days of graphics when I still had to use MS Paint... ) Here's the road show Puzzle Board from 1987-1997 And the contestant podiums from road shows that would become permanent in 1989 The Season 12 (1994-1995) title card Season 12 Puzzle Board Contestant Podiums 1992-1997

Yep those that mario has done are extremely realistic, I wonder if Mario could do the sunbursts from 81-89 and the chevrons used from 89-91 and woffan4ever you have the date wrong for the videowall it's 98-03 not 97 97 had random backgrounds such as flames in arizona when the old board stopped working I have some more letters, while i was given the option of publisher I prefer powerpoint, These are from 97's updated board Consecutive posts merged.

About the old puzzle board font, William and Dylan are half-right. Some of the letters are made from Rockwell Condensed Bold, but most of them are made from Beton T Bold Condensed. It's the closest thing I can find so far compared to the actual font. Below shows the breakdown of which letters are in what font:
Beton T Bold Condensed: B C D E F H I K L N R T U V W X Y Z Rockwell Condensed Bold: G J M O P S
The "A" was made from Bookman Old Style Bold. I noticed it wasn't that bold compared to the others, so I added an outline to it, but I think I just made it worse.
The "Q" is a Rockwell Condensed Bold "O" with a parallelogram added to its bottom-right corner. I couldn't find enything that looked close enough to the original. Again, I'll try to made it look less obvious next time.
I will probably change the "S" as well, because after I made it, I watched some old clips on YouTube, and noticed that the original "S" was a lot skinnier than I thought, and that Rockwell Condensed Bold would have been better, so there's yet another change to expect.
Nice job on the bonus envelope podium, pricemodel, and thanks for sharing those old pictures for me, Dylan. ;D

Between MarioGS and woffan4ever, I don't know what to say, but you guys did one heck of a job on the contestant backdrops as well as the puzzleboards.

Those are all the product of the great MarioGS. He made them for me for my Wheel netgames that I have hosted. Again, I thank him for all he's done for me. His work is priceless. I can't wait to see what he has in store in the upcoming Wheel update. (Insert a round of applause for Mario.) Thank you, Mario. ;D

Anyway, what do you think of this? The animated WOF logo from 1985 through 1989. I made it with Photoshop and GIFBuilder Carbon.

Wow, woffan4ever, that is just some marvelous works there for you to show us. MarioGS did a nice job. The on the road puzzle board could still use some work, but it's still nothing to sneeze at, especially when he made a nice attempt at it. And the podiums? Beats mine I'll admit. As for the season 12 title card, he added some very nice effects, but it was me who made the wheel. He was more than welcome to use it. If anyone wants just the wheel part, look no further. I also made something pretty lavish too. Both were made back in the spring of 2008. Wow, this topic has gotten so hot that even I forgot that I started it!

I redid the 90's diamonds of WHEEL with my other bonus podiums, I had forgot about the gradients of powerpoint until I did those other two so here is the closest thing I could make in powerpoint so here it is with those other bonus envelopes although the blue is lighter here

Which brings me to this question. Does anyone have or tell me where I could find a good clear, clean full-body shot of Vanna anywhere from 1983-1989 so that I could place her next to the puzzle board as I did for my puzzle board I posted several pages ago? I've hunted all over and cannot find one at all! Thanks! Removed unnecessary quoting.

Wheelgenius, what font did you use for the category strip on the old board? I tried Helvectia Narrow but it doesn't look right.

How about these? Post-1985 WOF logo chyrons you see over the spinning wheel in the show's opening. And I'm sure there was a blue one. Plus an orange one.
