You got me inspired to give this a shot sometime. I can certainly help you out with them, and I can do this all without Photoshop (I use Powerpoint, Paint, and Publisher). If you don't want the outline between wedges, I can do that too. The only reason the layouts have the black outline is because I couldn't figure out to get rid of it.

Well, earlier this year, I knew how to. I got rid of them using MS Paint of all things. I've created a whole bunch of templates using both lined and non-lined methods. I've been making Wheel illustrations since late 2006 or early 2007, and I've continually found ways to improve their look since then.
I've already made a Publisher file with the measurements. If you'd like for me to make those same layouts with improvements and without the wedge outlines, I'll be more than happy to do so. I just need some time if you please. I'm off of school right now, but even so, I'm still being kept busy.

I'm *pretty* sure the Korean one is just a fanmade concept. Korea has never had a version of Wheel as far as I'm aware, and even if they did, I think it'd be pretty hard to play with their alphabet. (It's rather difficult to explain without getting overly technical--if you want to know more, I'll type up a detailed explanation when it's not late at night.) Edit 12/30: Derp, of course they're all not real, that's why this is the "Fantasy" Wheel layout thread. I'm smart.

All of them are indeed conceptual, but that doesn't mean I don't like them. In fact, I love his works. That's how I know they're conceptual.

Except he should be the one posting them, not GonzalezWOF. We've discussed this before. These threads are for posting your OWN artwork, not somebody else's. GonzalezWOF had the good sense to at least credit the original designer, but that's still outside the intend of this thread. If you didn't make it, don't post it, simple as that.

Well, I shouldn't have a problem following that, but a question just popped into my mind for you, CU, and it's just straight out of curiosity as well as making sure for the sake of everyone else. Even if you got permission from the owner, you still can't post their work here, is that correct?

I, personally, would say that it's okay in a certain context.
For example, I think if you were to say "There's an artist that makes this (link to his/her artwork). He/She inspired me to make this (link to your artwork)," then I guess it would be okay.

Assuming the top-dollar value for Round 4 is still $5,000, this is what I thought of: Bare | Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 | Round 4 | (blank) | $2,500 | $3,500 | $3,500 | $5,000 | BANKRUPT | BANKRUPT | BANKRUPT | BANKRUPT | BANKRUPT | $500 | 1/2 Car | 1/2 Car | 1/2 Car | $500 | $600 | $600 | $600 | $600 | $600 | $300 | $300 | (?) $1K | $1,250 | $1,250 | $950 | $950 | $950 | $950 | $950 | $500 | Gift Tag | Gift Tag | Gift Tag | $500 | LOSE A TURN | LOSE A TURN | LOSE A TURN | LOSE A TURN | LOSE A TURN | $700 | $700 | $700 | $700 | $700 | $500 | R1 Prize | R1 Prize | R1 Prize | $500 | $650 | $650 | $650 | $650 | $650 | FREE SPIN | FREE SPIN | $1,000 | $1,000 | $1,000 | $400 | $400 | $400 | $400 | $400 | $500 | 1/2 Car | 1/2 Car | 1/2 Car | $500 | $850 | $850 | $850 | $850 | $850 | $550 | $550 | $550 | $550 | $550 | BANKRUPT | $1,000,000 | $1,000,000 | $1,000,000 | BANKRUPT | $350 | $350 | $350 | $350 | $1,500 | $450 | (TRIP?) | (TRIP?) | (TRIP?) | $450 | $800 | $800 | $800 | $800 | $800 | $300 | $300 | (?) $1K | $300 | $2,000 | $750 | $750 | $750 | Express ($1K) | $750 | $900 | $900 | $900 | $900 | $900 | $500 | Wild Card | Wild Card | Wild Card | $500 |
(DISCLAIMER: This table was designed with Firefox on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I hope it looks the same on other browsers.) NOTES: - Free Play and the Prize Puzzle are retired, with two replacements below.
- As originally the case, FREE SPIN is a wedge. However, a correct consonant is required to earn a token, additionally with a face value of $500. Suddenly, the $2,000 Toss-Up may be more valuable.
- The (TRIP?) wedge awards a mystery trip, mentioned after the solve. The wedge has no words, instead using a graphic that matches a PRIZE PUZZLE wipe. Has a $500 face value and works exactly like the nighttime Jackpot wedge, except it is only removed if won or after three rounds. Just in case, Pat may pick up the wedge if won.
- If you feel like a gambler, use $5,000 in Round 3 and a gold $7,500 in Round 4. Replace $1,500 with $1,200, and $1,250 with $1,500.

^ I like what you got there, mechamind! Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but good job working in every three-digit multiple of $50 from $300 to $950. I must say, clever way to get Free Spin back in there... question about the (Trip?) wedge, you say it's like the nighttime Jackpot wedge, by that you mean it requires a correct letter and a solve all in the same turn, right? One suggestion with the (Trip?) wedge, if it is won, have Pat pick it up and flip it over to show a trip graphic (similar to a player flipping over a mystery wedge) as a part of revealing the destination... and is that a typo in there when you said about replacing $1,500 with $1,200?

Yes, all of it is in the same turn. The reason I didn't have a reverse graphic on (Trip?) is because of Prize Puzzles that didn't give away the destination. Maybe it also has to do with why the Mystery Prize has always been $10,000 as of early 2007; they don't have to modify the wedge once a day anymore.
...and I did mean to type $1,250. Looking through the possibilities at least 15 times, I still manage to leave in a typo.

ETA: I'm on Internet Explorer and it looks fine to me.

A swap is the idea, although if $7,500 is used, the $1,500 would be pink while $1,250 would be yellow.

I like those concepts, Mechamind. I might make them someday. I assume those are counterclockwise? Am I really the only one who prefers to list wedges in clockwise order? -_-

Yes, they are in counter-clockwise order. And I just realized there are some who might complain to me for either suffocating $450, or using too many adjacent $X50 wedges (not counting the BANKRUPT in between). I've got an alternate one here (only this time, using the $7,500 layout). Since there are two $300 spaces, another is spared for at least Rounds 1-3. Bare | Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 | Round 4 | (blank) | $2,500 | $3,500 | $5,000 | $7,500 | BANKRUPT | BANKRUPT | BANKRUPT | BANKRUPT | BANKRUPT | $500 | 1/2 Car | 1/2 Car | 1/2 Car | $500 | $700 | $700 | $700 | $700 | $700 | $300 | $300 | (?) $1K | $1,500 | $1,500 | $950 | $950 | $950 | $950 | $950 | $500 | Gift Tag | Gift Tag | Gift Tag | $500 | LOSE A TURN | LOSE A TURN | LOSE A TURN | LOSE A TURN | LOSE A TURN | $850 | $850 | $850 | $850 | $850 | $500 | R1 Prize | R1 Prize | R1 Prize | $500 | $650 | $650 | $650 | $650 | $650 | FREE SPIN | FREE SPIN | $1,000 | $1,000 | $1,000 | $400 | $400 | $400 | $400 | $400 | $500 | 1/2 Car | 1/2 Car | 1/2 Car | $500 | $750 | $750 | $750 | $750 | $750 | $550 | $550 | $550 | $550 | $550 | BANKRUPT | $1,000,000 | $1,000,000 | $1,000,000 | BANKRUPT | $600 | $600 | $600 | $600 | $600 | $300 | (TRIP?) | (TRIP?) | (TRIP?) | $1,250 | $800 | $800 | $800 | $800 | $800 | $450 | $450 | (?) $1K | $450 | $450 | $350 | $350 | $350 | Express ($1K) | $2,000 | $900 | $900 | $900 | $900 | $900 | $500 | Wild Card | Wild Card | Wild Card | $500 |
The same swapping rules for $1,250 and $1,500 apply if $7,500 is not used.

So, Germanname posted links to a Wheel Template with no Lose A Turns while talking about the international Wheel templates. It got me wondering a few things: What the play-for-cash Round 2 Wheel would look like if they replaced Free Spin with another Bankrupt instead of the "off-model" $200. Or if, in Season 4, they did not change the Wheel templates (or just made new ones with the older colors and values), and still switched to play-for-cash in Season 5: - In Round 2 (again, with template 1), replace Free Spin with another Bankrupt and replace $1,000 with a $2,500 (same font as original $5,000).
- In Round 3 (with template 2), replace the yellow $400 (next to the red $500) with a $3,500 (same font as original $5,000). I get that it's red-to-magenta, but other wedges indicate this wouldn't be the biggest problem.
- In Round 4 (with template 3), the $5,000 Wheel remains unchanged.

Easy on the requests, Mech. I got your Bare Layout finished... Credit WG... Now, as for the rest, you said one of the $300s would stay in R1, or did you mean both $300s? I'm just making sure I don't screw up.
