I did this last year...and I'm ready to do it again. What moments did you enjoy and which would you rather forget?
BEST
1. Both $100,000 wins (Sharon Adams on April 26 made an incredible comeback after staying at zero for most of the game)
2. Bonnie Rutschilling ($81K+) from the Secret Santa Sweepstakes cleaning up on November 15, 2011 (she even phrased on how she solved the Bonus Round puzzle)
3. Ashley Hollier, one of the 16 KIA winners, who won over $40K in the maingame and miraculously solving her Bonus Puzzle (WIND-UP TOY) on March 5, 2012.
4. 14 Jackpot wins (this is probably a record for one season).
5. Melissa Templeton (Wednesday episode of "Military Spouses") and Mike Giamplis (opening episode of "Exotic Far East"), double car winners
6. A really exciting maingame on October 7, 2011 where a season-high $69,860 was given away.
7. Precious winning the maingame and solving...what else...PRECIOUS CARGO from "Wheel Around the World" (January 25, 2012)
8. Great gameplay on the first episode of College Week in Portland (May 14, 2012)
9. November 17: After the $2K Tossup solve of TELEVISION DIRECTOR, Pat's on-air interaction w/ Mark Corwin. The camera turned Pat's face blue and made his hair yellow.
10. Seeing Jim Thornton appear on camera at the end of premiere week.
WORST
1. All eight $100K losses
2. The two STUPIDEST BR losses (GLOBE and MAGIC WAND) of the season.
3. Four BR SHUTOUT weeks (not including the shortened theme weeks)
3. Margie Bannister on January 24th. She made an unnecessary MW gamble and pronounced PICTURESQUE as "picture-skay". She's probably the WORST PLAYER OF THE SEASON.
4. Portland Opener (April 30): All of the available cardboard except for one 1/2 KIA removed in Round 1 only to be lost to BANKRUPT especially the MDW that Emily had.
5. October 4, 2011: 9 BANKRUPT hits including Molly's whole KIA loss.
6. The season getting off to a terrible start (two post-buzzer BR solves and the $100K loss regarding CROWDED SUBWAY).
7. Blown solves a-plenty on the second episode of "Newlyweds Week" (June 5th).
8. Two five-figure losses on the first episode of "Wheel Across America", one of which was Terry's $20K+ loss on April 16th
9. Brandon from October 26 sweeping the maingame, but then losing $35K on PARTY FAVOR in the BR.
10. Brad blowing a chance to win the KIA Soul on the Portland finale (PROPERTY BILL OF RIGHTS instead of GROCERY BILL OF RIGHTS[/b])
