R1: So they decide to end the round by calling an obvious single instead either of the two remaining doubles? OK, then...

R2: The way Bob nudges the WC after declining the gamble, I thought he was considering using it for another $1,000 per letter. Not that it would have mattered, anyway.

R3: I think "Same Letter" should have been the category here. Still tolerable with "Thing", but SL makes it much more sensible.

R5: This took way longer than the editors made it seem of course.

I got to say "We know they're going to call a right letter" three times tonight in the last two rounds alone. Please stop making things predictable, editors.

BR: Had it with RSTLNE. The obvious A would have been a big help tonight.

Anyone notice that the Wheel layout on the cake in this week's theme graphic is last season's? $700 lives!

Yet another awkward couples week. One person wants to do one thing, the other wants to do the opposite, often causing brief, hushed arguments and awkwardness that waste time...

Theme overload this week much? The only things that weren't themed were the PP, R5, and the BR...

TU1&2: Getting an early jump on the themed toss-ups, I see... sigh.

R1: Seriously, three straight themed puzzles is two too many. I got this as the E's came up, but it takes our players significantly longer. There were two pairs left on the board, Craig and Daniella - why not pick at least one of them rather than a single before solving? This wasn't a house-minimum solve but it could have been much better.

R2: Make that four themed puzzles. The passed Mystery gamble and subsequent Bankrupt by Bob and Jamie gives Craig and Daniella a shot at $10,000, but they let it slip away. A lot of money could have been won in these two rounds but wasn't.

R3: For once, I'm GLAD to see the Trip Puzzle, because it's the first puzzle of the game that isn't wedding/marriage/couple-themed! Craig and Daniella have a decent lead at $11,470, but their conservative play may come back to bite them later...

TU3: Lindsey and Dan are the last pair to get on the board, but they finally managed to do so!

R4: Craig and Daniella again play it soft, but at least they got the five R's (although there were other good multiples there).

R5: This was possible due to Craig and Daniella's conservative play and nothing else. I'm sure Lindsey and Dan are thankful for the extra $3,200 though, which took a while to earn as evidenced by the Pat cut.

Bonus: It figures that they skipped out on the only part of CDMA which would have done any good. Again, the W would have been useful here, as would Andy's BGH trio.

Overall: This show pretty much put me off the rest of the week already. Soft play, too many themed puzzles, and low winnings... I'm rating it a 3/10 because it was just a drag to watch.

For a second there, I was scared that the bonus round couple might've lost the $100,000 by the way they reacted to how much they lost. The good news was that it wasn't the hundred grand, but the amount that was lost was still rather steep.

Now that I've watched the first two episodes of the week, here we go...

R1: Yellow team, you could've gotten more w/ the C's and D's...

R2: Enough w/ the consonativity, yellow team! I definitely would've risked flipping the MW.

R3: Three in a row, ugh. H's were waiting to be called.

Tossup #3: Yay, the Sonny and Cher hit!

Bonus Round: For once, the wasted A would've been very helpful. As Scott said, my favored BGH would've done well. Craig and Daniella's conservativeness have came back to haunt them.
