TU1&2: Surprisingly unthemed outside of the usage of On The Map...

R1: It took us four spins to hit something other than $500 - but we're back to that number for the Same B. I don't know where M was supposed to fit, but that late dud leads to a house-minimum solve.

R2: Rare category and a MASSIVE puzzle! Unfortunately, we lost the Mystery prize to Bankrupt and the San Francisco trip is set aside by Lose a Turn. THREE pairs left on the board, so we could have done better than $4,000 for the round, but after all the penalty spins I guess some conservative play is expected.

R3: This is a pretty good Phrase, not common, but not trip-spoiling. Another two pairs left in favor of a $900 solve - feels a little tripskatey to me.

TU3: I guess that's Show Biz but it seems like a stretch...

R4: Eric hits big money twice here for a total of $20,000 - that's what we're talking about! He gets lucky getting his turn back in speed-up mode, stealing the game with $27,550! Too bad Estela leaves with the Pity Thousand.

Bonus: Like Eric, I got SHORTS but not KHAKI. He needed the H (and probably the K too) for any chance at that.

Overall: Big win at the end of the maingame but a loss in Bonusland and some conservative play - 7/10 for me.

R1: Like I've said in the past, even the $1K minimum is too much, IMO, but it was good that Eric went for the last letters.

BR: Several possibilites for the last word with just the free letters: SHIRTS, SHORTS, SPORTS, SKIRTS...Tough luck, even though I knew it.

I am so sorry, but R4 was almost completely RUINED for me. The first $5K spin, absolute silence from the crowd while Eric lets out a huge "WHOOOOO!", and all the while, the audience is just thinking "Shut up and pick a letter already so we can get this show over with..." Then comes the second one, some oohs that time, but WAY too little to make for that ABYSMAL first $5K hit, and then they do the "zoom in" reaction shot, and only AFTER that does the audience cheer like they were supposed to the whole time. Seal trainers...WAY too late to do your jobs properly...I was hoping Estela would win the Speed-Up, but TALENT after calling the A? First MDW silence, then $5K silence, as if $2500 and $3500 silences weren't enough for the past 4 seasons...I was so furious that I actually feel glad that the season is ending this week so I don't have to put up with this again until September. Even though Eric's enthusiasm was clearly not a problem, Wheel HAS to realize that this makes the show look bad and gives it a reputation as being boring. In a Portland interview on YouTube, Pat mentions how he doesn't like this either. He better make sure to acknowledge this to Harry at the next "What do we do for S30?" meeting.

I still have little hope of the season ending on a good note even with only 3 shows left, even though this show wasn't awful...Major congrats to Eric.

Very often the past couple seasons, a quick (2-3 spins), high 5-digit build-up in R4 gets lost to speed-up and, sometimes, the contestant not getting it when s/he should despite those pitches. Tonight, the failure was abound enough for Eric to recover and claim the highest non-full-speedup round this season, and it was a fun surprise for this week.

The rest... pretty meh. I do like SHORTS instead of UNIFORM when KHAKI is used. See you in 2016, KHAKI.

EDIT: Mario, have you considered the audience is instructed not to cheer too loudly overall at any point in the game? What exactly are you frustrated at all the time? We've heard how poor they handle the crowd, so maybe something is being lost in translation and it isn't anyone's intention for things like this to happen.

That was probably the last big comeback of the season tonight thanks to Eric & Pat didn't even spin $6K himself!

That bonus puzzle was definitely hard. I likely would've gotten it had the H's been up there, too. However, if Eric had considered the possibilities on the second word, he might've had the H's, K's & the I or O lit up all at once & might very well have solved it then.

The Trip Puzzle sounds like corporate phraseology.

So for the big game-ending Round 4, Wheel opts to use a relatively-obscure TV Quote from...what, the mid-1990s or so? Great way to keep with the times, there...

According to posters here who have been at the show, the staff wants the audience to be loud at certain points. The fact is that the audience doesn't care enough to do so.

I can see Friedman's response: "Noted. We'll start using the tracks again." Which isn't the answer, Wheel. It's never been the answer, and it'll never be the answer. Much like your little dubbing spree, in fact...but that's neither here nor there.

In fact, I'm starting to think you guys read this forum some time ago and decided to generally stop using the tracks to prove how "necessary" you think they are. Because how dare you actually give the audience a show to be excited about.

Yeah, and the car was a Nissan Rogue; hence, this was taped on February 9 as I fixed that up for cu.

R1: Not that great of an opening round. BUMMALO, Estela? I don't think so. At least Eric got the last remaining consonants.

R2: We could have had a five-figure round for Jerrie, but nope. There were some multiples remaining as Scott pointed out (C's and D's).

R3: Oh come on Jerrie, $900 cash for this round isn't that great. The first three rounds weren't that great until...

R4: ...Eric snags a big payoff thanks to help from Estella's mishap! Nicely done!

Bonus Round: Knew what the second word was when the O appeared but that first word also stumped me.

I missed quite a bit of this show, Good from what I saw.

R1: This round was a bummer, Estela had almost all of the letters up, but I guess she'd never heard of BUFFALO BURGERS. Too bad we got the minimum. Got it at the Bs.

R2: At least quite a bit was won. Sure this was a round of diasters, but at least we got $4000 and cardboard off the wheel. Got it at the Ls

R3: Well, we lost a lot, but Jerrie gets a nice hunk of change with that $900 and trip. Got this at the Ls.

R4: Darn it, I missed a great round. I was busy. But I got back to see the totals and saw that Eric made a lot of money this round. I would've guessed $6000 speedup, but he got that before speed round. Very Nice!

BR: I love to wear these, but I got stumped on them. BHIK would've worked. At least it wasn't a lot.

I missed the best part of the show, but the rest wasn't too bad.

Score: 7/10

Never realized how much this applied to more than a simple want.
