All right for those who don't know already, there are some new Wheel of Fortune games. The 3rd edition is pretty much the same as their two previous editions, and the new 2nd Deluxe Edition has once again come without any add-on wedges. Please visit www.pressmantoy.com and click on the What's New Button for basic info and pictures. Finally, Sony will release a WOF Platinum Edition game of their own on Sunday January 24. I fear the graphics will be the exact same way as the Deluxe Edition they released in 2007 with no Million Dollar Wedge, no Wild Card, and no updated color scheme for the wheel. How is it, Myles? Well, I had a thought. If Pressman can make like the ultimate Wheel of Fortune board game, it could have these elements comapred to the game you just got. I saw a picture of a board game based on the Russian Version of Wheel. If Pressman can use that sort of style for the puzzle board, they should.  I know France and Italy made recent board game adaptions off of their current versions. I'm certain I have seen France's have a bonus wheel! If they can do it, why can't we?  Finally, the most obvious one, redesign the wheel to include wedges like they did back in the 80s! I have never seen an American Wheel board game with the old Bankrupt/$10,000/Bankrupt wedge, yet alone the Million Dollar Wedge! If they can do all that and sell it for perhaps $50.00 a copy, Pressman can watch the money come in like crazy! How many of you agree with all that? |

the 2nd Deluxe Edition of WOF game was good, and they got new border design on the puzzle board, it's the same puzzle board border design on the 25th Silver Anniversary edition.
the cover of the Deluxe Edition box game was the 26th season logo of WOF with the Million Dollar wedge.

Oh, and, uh, speaking of which, on Monday, I won a WOF board game on Ebay from a New Jersey seller - based on the current ITALIAN version! Whoo! ;D

Thanks, Myles and Wheel Fan17, and I'l tell you something. From the time I won it to the time the game arrived at my front door, it took not even THREE DAYS! I had it since Thursday. I'll post pics of it and a video once I get the chance. Also, speaking of home games, I heard some fantastic news about "Wheel" and "Jeopardy!" More WOF game news. There is a YouTube video of a new WOF arcade redemption game coming out soon. Take a look.
Also, I just got a 64GB iPod Touch yesterday (March 14), and besides the official WOF game for the it, there are a lot of WOF-like apps many of you will certainly like. Perhaps the best fan-made app inspired by Wheel is a custom game wheel maker called YouSpin.
It comes with many preset wheels such as a cube (numbers 1 through 6 basically), Roulette (the European Roulette Wheel Layout), Yes or No (2 wedges each saying Yes or No), and Score Wheel (a rainbow wheel styled much like the 1994 German Wheel which actually happens to be the icon of the app).
I have already made many WOF layouts, but I've also made layouts based off of Plinko and the Big Wheel from TPIR, Match Game, and even Russian Roulette for those who remember that show. A friend of mine even did a Melody Roulette Wheel layout from Name That Tune along with the wheel from Door 4 of Hall's All-New LMAD. So please, for those who have an iPod Touch or an iPhone, or are planning to get one, please download this app. It's 99 cents; you won't be sorry; you're gonna have a lot of fun. I'm having a lot of fun already with that app.

Where were you able to find the news about that?
Now I have heard that they're not coming out for maybe another year, but I think it'll still be worth the wait as that gives THQ more opportunity to add some quality to the game. Now whatever comes in season 28, hopefully that can be added in at the last minute.

That should give them plenty of time to update the games with the Season 28 motif and changes (if there are any). I hope they have more info on the games at E3, though. BTW, there's another video of that Konami arcade game. Take a look. That game is actually mainly developed by Raw Thrills. Konami is just their "partner." At least we finally have another WOF arcade game that actually involves puzzle solving skills. Also, I don't have an iPhone or iPod Touch, but my aunt does. I downloaded YouSpin. It's tons of fun! Well, mariogs, you're welcome for all that info, but if you can please tell me the site where Pat mentioned his video game issues, I'd appreciate that.
As for the arcade game, it's still nice that Konami's still involved. Who'd have thunk they, the king of DDR, be involved in a game like WOF? Believe me, I really wouldn't! Just wait 'til Capcom or NAMCO gets involved. XD
And, you're very welcome for the info on the YouSpin app. I'm very glad you like it. ;D
