^Serious question: how are Hurdles and the Showcase Showdown played? Those were botched beyond belief on the Wii and Xbox 360 versions.
Me? I'm waiting for a price list to show up on GameFAQs. That's how bad it is.

Were the kinks fixed for the PS3 version? (Race game, 3 Strikes) Is the Xbox 360 version better than either version?

On The Wii version, if you win Race game, or get anything, it doesn't count into your winnings.

Hurdles is played for cash. It starts out with one grocery item; it is described and the price is shown. Three more grocery items are described and you have to choose if either one is higher or lower than the first grocery item. If the hurdler jumps over them all, you win. SCSD-One AI player's score is shown in the score window and that's the score you have to beat. Most of the time it's 75 cents. You have to beat in one spin or a combination of two spins. But, for example, if you hit 75 on your first spin and that's what the other player already had, you can't stay have a spin-off. You have to spin again, and I HATE that because I usually end up going over! The bonus cash amounts depend on what year you are playing in. All kinks are fixed. 3 Strikes and Race Game work fine. A price list, no way. There's too many items to formulate a price list for. I haven't had a repeat item yet. This is by far the best version I've ever played. Kudos to Ludia and Dismantle on this one...shocker!

I liked it too, for a while. The nostalgia factor is great. Gameplay, not so much.

Hurdles is played for cash. It starts out with one grocery item; it is described and the price is shown. Three more grocery items are described and you have to choose if either one is higher or lower than the first grocery item. If the hurdler jumps over them all, you win. Actual rules (italics denote differences): Hurdles is played for a prize between about $2,000 and $5,000 in value. It starts out with one grocery item; it is described and the price is shown. Three more sets of grocery items are described and you have to choose which item of each pair is lower than the first grocery item. If the hurdler jumps over them all, you win. (Basically, Ludia tore out Hurdles' heart and made it a higher/lower game with a nonsensical motif.) SCSD-One AI player's score is shown in the score window and that's the score you have to beat. Same old crappy Showcase Showdown. At least the first two games actually followed the rules. A price list, no way. There's too many items to formulate a price list for. I haven't had a repeat item yet. I know there's one for the first game, that's why I asked. This is by far the best version I've ever played. Kudos to Ludia and Dismantle on this one...shocker! ...dafuq?
