If anything was good tonight, it has to be the men's speed skating. I thought that Korea swept one set of medals, but two got caught up and then fell out on the last lap. It led to one still winning gold, but the Apollo won a silver, and another American named J.R. Rodenski winning bronze.

Also, Hannah Kearney won the first gold medal for the United States in the women's moguls. Well done, Hannah!
Oh, and Jenny Heil won the first medal for Canada (silver) in that same event. Great effort by Jenny.

An, that was not just what happened, for today, American Johnny Spilane almost won gold in the Nordic combo as he was just overtaken by Frenchman Chappius overtook him for the gold barely.
It ended a huge drought for that event for the Americans.
UPDATE TONIGHT: Alexandre Bilodeau, who won the men's moguls became the first Canadian to win Olympic gold inside its home country.

Well, there was not much to say on tonight except the snow is melting and with so much rain, the conditions are dangerous. Plus the oval for speed skating is melted completely making it unworkable for the events. In additon, the markings for the snowboard track are smearing. Is there anything else on this or anything that can make things better?

I cannot believe that Lindsay Jacobedlis keeps blowing everything just like in the last Winter Olympics. She got DQed for going off the track in the semifinals of snowboard cross. And this deserves this moment:

Well, Sidney Crosby Sunday won the gold for Canada in overtime.
But sadly, the closing was terribly put.
