This is a quite funny promo for a Tulsa affiliate that reacquired the rights for broadcasting Wheel and Jeopardy! for this upcoming season. Be sure to click "HD" If you look closely, you'll see that the layout used is wheelgenius' old Round 1 "Road Trip" layout. The 1/2 Car wedges, the MDW, and Wild Card were made by me. This is not the version currently found in his DeviantArt gallery. He updated it a little while ago to match his other high-res layouts. This is his older version. I can tell because it has the 66 gift tag and it has my MDW from when I used the Cambria font for the "ONE MILLION". WG's current version has no gift tag and uses his own MDW. Plus, this was from when he used the Free Play logo without the light bulbs on the word "PLAY", as shown in the ad, though notice how they added a lot of shine to the appropriate wedges (except my Wild Card. How dare you?!  )

If you though torandos are bad in this state, wait until the giant wheel come out and rule Tulsa. XD
But anyway, good commercial. I remember it was on KTUL before it was move to KJRH(NBC affiliate). I know that cuz I used to live in Tulsa for a short while when Wheel and Jeopardy was moved to a other channel. Now it moving back to a channel they were on before.

How the hell did they come to decide to use that particular one?
I mean, I'm sure they don't realize that was only used for 5 shows ever, but... how did they find it over other common ones?

How the hell did they come to decide to use that particular one? . . . I'm guessing that the animators were on a deadline, and it was the first one that looked good. . . . how did they find it over other common ones? Google's PageRank can be weird sometimes. |

WOW, one of my old deviations being used on another local TV promo. Just like my future Disney spinner layout being used here. Ain't that something? I'm guessing the folks at KTUL already downloaded one of my old Road Trip Week wheels layout before every round of it got updated to high-res. |

And by the way i've learned that KTUL did picked up Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune since where they started as mentioned in the end of promo, because KTUL picked up both shows when they debuted to syndication Jeopardy! (1984) & Wheel of Fortune (1983).
