I could've strangled Jeremy when he decided to solve with only $1,400 during round one. As consistently as he was spinning there's no reason to leave two relatively large multiples on the board. He's lucky that didn't come back to bite him in the ass, especially during round 2 two.

Well I was in the audience for this show. George had just completed his show and we stayed and watched this one. Thanks for the compliment on the audience. There was a whole group of 4th or 5th graders watching the show and they were very good for cheering. We sat right in front of Sharonda's family. We felt terrible for them. Her husband was just dying on that puzzle. He was not a happy camper. We found out later that Sharonda did not know the puzzle until she reached down to spin and just as she grabbed the spokes of the wheel, before spinning, it came to her. Since she already had a hold of the wheel, she could not raise back up in time and let it fly only to hit on the LAT. Even the kids in the audience seemed to all know the puzzle. We got to know Holly a bit and she is a real sweet girl. Have been waiting a while to watch this one. Hope to have shared some insight to what it was like being there for this one. You certainly did, Mr. Carter. Thanks. You're lucky you were part of a good crowd, because usually my comments towards the audience are the complete opposite of complimentary. That's terrible that it came to her about a split second too late. That happens to me sometimes when I play the game. I figure out the answer right as I spin or right after I lose my turn.

Any possibility we can get 4th/5th graders to regularly be part of the studio audience? Sounds like that will help with some peoples' audience woes a lot.

Is that a real rule? Once you touch the a Wheel spoke you must spin?

Interesting that this was aired almost exactly 2 years ago -- I think it is the 2nd airing of this episode on The Game Channel here in the Philippines, but I just watched it right now.
R1: Jeremy has good wheel control that I wonder why he didn't spin for more. Was almost always close to the $2500, but opt to solve it early. So many H's and R's (in which getting both would guarantee him a higher prize because he could be $2100 minimum, and I agree if he gets to $2500 a $17500 prize could be done in a very effective WC use). I kind of hoped he would pay for this as one PP could ruin him (especially seeing that Sharonda was the one in control of PP Round).
R2: Bankrupt bonanza, for sure, hehe. It was a null cycle I think if not for Jeremy having a WC and some money. Good thing Sharonda balanced it out with her special wedge run with the 1/2 Car Tags and MDW (goodbye, 2/3 Bankrupt!)...until she got stumped in the most crucial spin and got to a LAT! Sad if it is true that Sharonda knew about it when she touched the Wheel -- she probably wins it (although I am not sure about the total if we remove Jeremy's R2 win as he did still win the PP), but pressure could really change many things in life. What is worse Jeremy has to go conservative again and solve it. Still not enough to usurp whoever wins the PP.
R3: Sharonda's time to redeem herself as she has control of the PP, but the 1/2 Car + LAT double caught her again. So, Jeremy takes victory again by solving it without spinning (Jeremy: "it's a Prize Puzzle!") and wins the trip and kind of puts the PP fears moot.
R4: This time I actually think seeing that it is hard for the others to catch up to him barring a $5000 spin, Jeremy took more risks here, and solved it I think even if he knew it, at least for assurance.
At least there is someone else that won a puzzle this time but Sharonda still can't get a break.
R5: Final Spin time and I think Pat did his best to get it close to $5000 but the spin was just enough for $900. Another solve by Jeremy, but at least made a $5000+ cash solve in it. Sad for Sharonda for the Pity Thousand after what happened to her. On to the BR.
BR: I think it was quite easy with the first two words already kind of being given away (ON THE/IN THE). _ _ _ N E also really helped it, and I think when he was thinking of letters, after H and P I think that is where he knew the puzzle and finished it with O. Nice to have a full reveal solve! Good prize too.
Overall it was a weak opening but did get better around R4. I was going to put this as 4/10 until that 4th Round where things turn to be a little bit interesting in terms of adding the prize. For now I put this as a 6/10. Hope for less minimums in the next episodes.
