Longstanding and the first recapper to exist on this site no longer has the position of recapper. Andy served with us from early 2009 onward, and was the longest tenured member of staff at the time. He brought many recaps, posts, and members to the site. Without Andy, we would not have gained the many valuable former Sony boards members that we have today. So for that, for helping the site become the awesomeness it is today, one last thank you to Andy.
With that said, we'll need a new recapper for the site. Open auditions will be held next week, for next week's recaps, with a good deal of restrictions:
1) You MUST post at least 3 recaps next week. If you do not, no consideration.
2) Beyond this, you basically have to be able to post recaps every show. The occasional being out happens, since that's life.
3) You must be in good standing with the staff of BAV Boards, at the sole discretion of the staff.
4) Try to bring something original to your recap format- it really will be beneficial for the board members to see.
The process will work as such: One staff member will open the thread, at which point those applying for the recap team leader position will post their recaps of the night's show. At that point, all you can do is wait, and recaps will be judged by the site staff.
Oh, yes, one last little thing... there's a pretty cool perk if you get this job. Happy recapping!
