All right, I've got some great news for everyone here. I was in the mood to upload to YouTube my experience when Wheel 2000 came to Chicago's Navy Pier on November 1, 1997. My mother, who drove me to this special event, taped whatever she could. Here's the layout used. The background of the 2000-point space is very different as I made this back in October of 2007, three years before I found a way to make wedge effects such as gradients, glitters, and other cool effects. As for the 850-point space, I'm trying to figure out whether the numbers were green or blue. In one photo I have (I'll post it up on Flickr when I can), it was green, but in some other sources I have, it's blue. germanname.deviantart.com/art/Wheel-2000-Bravo-Edition-66667218I'll try and make the background used on the 2000-point space, which was also the background used on the puzzle board, but without any further ado, here's Wheel 2000 in Navy Pier! Here's a link to the video with the description. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AE5E-Y4AF64

Billy Boy, you were one lucky kid. I mean how nice the staff was to let you spin once.

Thanks so much for posting this! I'm so glad we have video of the tour. No Cyber Lucy? Cool Wheel. I like how it's tilted forward so that David and the spectators can see it better. Interesting how every regular 3-digit value ended in 50. And why did that stagehand put the Wheel on Loser after you spun it? So the stunt gave you up to 4 letters instead of 3, and you actually got to pick your letters on your own instead of having a randomizer, and including vowels. That makes it more worthwhile. That's an interesting board. I was expecting it just to be a monitor wall. Did the trilons turn? I see them sort of sway, but not completely turning to the other side.

I believe the staff wanted the Wheel a certain way even after I spun the 1000 up. That's my guess.
As for the Alientoss game, the limit was still three in case you heard four.
Indeed, there was no Cyber Lucy, but I heard a rumor that Tanika Ray, who played Lucy, was behind the puzzle board, but I recall seeing a man behind the puzzle board, perhaps incorrectly.
As for the trilons, they turned, but if you look closely, they were turned counterclockwise like on the 1974 pilots.
