Didn't know where else to put this, so I thought I'd put it here since we're talking about video games. I just got this push notification on my phone... No Vanna? Aw man! I hope it's halfway decent and I hope I don't have to pay $4.99 for it either! Fixed broken imageThanks, Mario. Blame my phone for that one.

Whoo-hoo! The 30th anniversary edition's finally coming out next week? Awesome sweetness! That just reversed the frown given to me by tonight's episode! Please let there be $650. Please let there be $650. Please let there be $650 I pray. -_-

This new Wheel game has just been released in the New Zealand App Store. Here are some great screenshots. Unfortunately, there's no Vanna, but at least there's Pat. These scoreboards actually look better than the ones on the show, except the fact that they still use arrows instead of the new bars. It looks like there are no prize wedges, gift tags, or 1/2 Car tags. The colors on the Wheel look quite vivid, but why is the center black? EPIC WIN! Though the 80s set next to it uses the 1988 road show board, and it unfortunately looks like the Wheel remains current. You can make out the 600-350-500-900-Bankrupt-650 stretch. But at least we get the burst tower set. I think of cu's and Guint's games whenever I see that font. Cool, the name tags actually display names. And notice the S20 logo on that 16-monitor video wall. Mustaches still available for female avatars? You can buy extra themed puzzles and costumes. Notice that it's the old shopping turntable. How appropriate. Who or what do you think that is coming out from that WOF grave? The description as posted on a New Zealand iOS forum... I can't wait for us Americans to get this! ;D Hope there's online multiplayer again, as well as a fourth round. This is what the new console version should have been, IMO.

And I see a good enough shot that proves the current layout is going to be used, so those who've played every official Wheel of Fortune game, this will be the second to have $650 as a playable value, the first being the Game Gear version. And they're gonna have retro themes! Sweet! I wonder if there will be retro layouts or at least layouts that resemble retro layouts. Also, would this be the first official Wheel of Fortune game in almost a decade to have some variations of the Changing Keys theme, at least the good ones used from 1983-1994?

You can see behind the "Nineties" photograph that the Wheel is still the current.
It would be nice to have the appropriate variants of music. The forum that posted this info says the app should go live in the US around 11 PM EST.

I think it's great they finally included 2 puzzle boards that were never seen in any WoF game... the on-the-road board and the '95-'97 board. Awesome.

I think it's pretty sad that they can do this for smart phones and tablets but they can't create a decent video game adaptation. I still think the 64 version is one of the best if not the best adaptation. Sure it may not be as accurate on the wheels of the time but it's one of few games that haven't included that crap power bar.

I got the iPhone version downloaded & it's awesome! It's got round 4 in it with the $5,000 wedge. I also found out that there is a BANKRUPT wedge underneath the Million Dollar Wedge, but in round 4, the BANKRUPT wedge between $550 & $300 changes to an $800 wedge & yes, there's a speed-up round when time is starting to run out, as well as the $3,000 Toss-Up, along with the 3 rounds from the previous version. Despite the fact that there are no car tags, gift tags, prize wedges, & Prize Puzzles, as well as no Vanna White & no Jim Thornton announcing for the iPhone version of America's Favorite Game Show, it's still a great game. Definitely worth buying it.

The new Wheel app is on iTunes and it is only Pat Sajak, however (I could only tell this from the pics....it's still downloading) you can play different eras of Wheel with Pat. The pics do show the classic puzzleboard as "The Nineties." It looks AWESOME! ;D

-The themes include: Today, Millennium, '90s, '80s, and (1983) Premiere (complete with Pat's old hairstyle ;D) -Starting with "Today," you must win 5 games in each theme to unlock the next -No Wheel prizes, Gift Tags, 1/2 Car, Prize Puzzle -RSTLNE is RTSLNE -Game is much slower pace than the original one but can be skipped through -The 2's and 7's on the Wheel are in a different font (Clarendon I think)

Restart your device (don't just lock/unlock it). That should help.

Just downloaded it last night. I think this game is really awesome! I like the avatars here better than on the previous one, although I'm still trying to figure out if I can change the eye color on mine. Nice to see they have Pat, too! And the graphics look great! I also like how they added round 4 and the $5,000 wedge! From what I've seen, though, it doesn't look like this game has an online multiplayer capability. Oh, and something else I happened to notice: this game has the current speed-up music! ;D

I've just finished my 12th game (second game in the 90s theme). For those who've yet to make it there, you'll want to in order to see the puzzle board there.

You can buy extra themed puzzles and costumes. Notice that it's the old shopping turntable. How appropriate. (More specifically, it's the 1983-89 turntable; those flower-ish emblems on the top-left and top-right weren't present originally, and I'm reasonably sure they were added when "Changing Keys" debuted.) -The themes include: Today, Millennium, '90s, '80s, and (1983) Premiere (complete with Pat's old hairstyle ;D) Just a general question to anybody who knows, and preferably with pictures -- since the "Nineties" contestant backdrop is clearly the "W starburst" ones used from 1992-96, what are the ones used on the "Eighties" and so-called "Premiere" sets?

I don't have the game, but searching through the screenshots, is this what you are talking about Mario?
