Christmas Day's episode of Wheel of Fortune will be pre-empted on ABC markets in the Eastern and Central time zones due to the NBA game between Oklahoma City and Miami scheduled for 5:30-8:00. Some Mountain stations could be affected as well if the game runs past 8. Check your local listings to see if it will air overnight.

It looks like our regular full show uploader uses one of the affected stations, so is it possible someone else can record and upload the episode (Wayoshi, JJman, or anyone else)? My station's not moving it.

WPLG (the ABC affiliate for Miami) will be airing Wheel and Jeopardy! at the very reasonable Noon hour. Also, rather than local news from 4:30-7:00 AM, they're airing The Brady Bunch, The Beverly Hillbillies, The Dick Van Dyke Show, That Girl, and another Brady episode.
WPBF (the ABC affiliate for West Palm Beach), on the other hand, is preempting them entirely.
Unfortunately, I can never seem to get either station in, and I don't really have the equipment to record them, but I may as well help anyone living in South Florida.
/and by "South Florida", I of course mean the east coast from West Palm Beach downward to Miami

Wow, that's lucky. It's almost like having Wheel on daytime again. We better watch out for early spoilers, though.

Strangely, though, WPLG doesn't seem to have an actual live stream like that one station (can't remember which one) we all watched in chat during Sanam's episode. The only thing I can find is this, and it only seems to be for the news broadcasts. Then again, this is the same station that has a "track Santa Claus" thing (which is completely silent) and is currently doing a "Believe in Bieber" contest, so...

Dammit, I wish WBZ would do the early airing sometime, that's something I've never experienced.

The station that is used for the online stream is WTSP, St. Petersburg's CBS affiliate, which was one of the Scripps markets where Wheel and Jeopardy! moved. Until last year, the ABC station, WFTS, aired the shows and its stream is still used. So the CBS stream ( www.ilive.to/view/41597/CBS) should air the shows fine, assuming they're live that night. I'm going to a family Christmas party tomorrow night at a relative's apartment, but they don't have WiFi of their own. I was thinking of maybe bringing my laptop to see if I can watch online, but it would mean having to fish around to find an unsecured network that actually works. Sometimes I'm successful, sometimes not. Regardless, I'd like to have a copy online for me to see later since I might not be able to pay close attention to it even if I do get to see it live.

According to a post on Jboard, some markets have the game airing on ESPN instead with ABC having their regular programming. Again, check your local listings (this is sadly not the case for me).

According to my listing, my NBC affiliate will still air Wheel, but I have no way of recording the show (especially not where I am with no reliable Internet and a blizzard bearing down on us).
What I wouldn't give to be back home where my good connection is, with a decent recording rig... oh well.

I'm guessing the ABC O&O's (WABC, KABC, WLS, WPVI, KGO, WTVD, and KFSN) all pre-empted them. I'm certain the games were finished by about 8/7C (when the double dose of Grinch started).

Basketball ran well into the 8pm hour.
All ABC affiliates in affected markets, not just the O&Os, aired basketball in place of Wheel, then joined Grinch in progress. Markets not in the Eastern/Central time zones had programming air as normal.
Anyways, since it's after-the-fact now...
