The reason why I'm starting this thread is because in the market right next door to me, the Providence/New Bedford DMA (I'm in the Boston DMA), both Wheel and Jeopardy! have been on WPRI-12 (CBS) for almost 3 decades. For the first time ever, the NBC affiliate in Providence beat Wheel's ratings with their own 7pm newscast. I wonder what this will mean for Wheel on channel 12. Perhaps it could end up on another station, with Jeopardy! remaining on WPRI.
In Boston, both shows have moved several times, from WHDH for 17 years to WSBK for 8 years, and then finally to WBZ. Boston is one of only three CBS O&Os that air Wheel of Fortune (the others being KTVT Dallas and WCCO Minneapolis).
Here in the Boston area, this is what Wheel currently competes against:
WCVB-5 (ABC): Inside Edition WHDH-7 (NBC): Access Hollywood WFXT-25 (Fox): TMZ WSBK-38 (MyTV): Big Bang Theory WLVI-56 (CW): Two and a Half Men
In Providence:
WLNE-6 (ABC): omg! Insider (they DID have a 7pm newscast recently, to compete against WJAR) WJAR-10 (NBC): 7pm news, as discussed WLWC-28 (CW): Big Bang Theory WNAC-64 (Fox): TMZ
So in both Boston and Providence, both Wheel and Jeopardy! are not on the #1 rated station in the market (WCVB in Boston, WJAR in Providence). Are there any other markets where Wheel of Fortune did get replaced with a 7pm newscast?

Is there a website where you can find out the ratings of the show for a particular station?
In the New York City area, Wheel on WABC-7 competes against...
WCBS-2 (CBS): Entertainment Tonight WNBC-4 (NBC): Access Hollywood WNYW-5 (FOX): The Big Bang Theory WWOR-9 (My#): The King of Queens WPIX-11 (CW): Family Guy

Being that I live in a small market (Watertown, NY), ratings reports are usually never published. In Watertown, WWNY-DT (the CBS affiliate) airs Wheel. WWNY has the unique position of being the only real news station in the market (the ABC affiliate, WWTI, stopped airing its own newscasts years ago and currently simulcasts news from WSYR in Syracuse; the FOX affiliate, WNYF, is owned by WWNY, and doesn't air a 6pm newscast); that, combined with the powerful CBS lineup, causes WWNY to have a competitive advantage in the Watertown market. In addition, the market lacks a NBC affiliate- where I live, WPTZ out of Plattsburgh serves as the NBC affiliate, and does feature North Country content on its 6pm newscast- but it also airs Wheel, at the same time WWNY does. Until last season, we also had a third Wheel affiliate in CBC, but as we know, CBC no longer airs Wheel. In my area, at 730pm: WWNY-TV (CBS): Wheel of FortuneWWTI-TV (ABC): The Big Bang Theory WWTI-DT2 (CW, part of The CW+): Rules of Engagement
WNYF-CA (FOX): Dish Nation WPTZ-TV (NBC, from Plattsburgh): Wheel of Fortune
CJOH-DT (CTV, from Ottawa): The Big Bang TheoryCBOT-DT (CBC, from Ottawa): Coronation Street

Where I am is kind of between markets. Most of the networks come from the Cape Girardeau, MO market, but some also come from southern Illinois and western Kentucky. In my area at 6:30 Central (7:30 Eastern):
WPSD (NBC - Paducah, KY): Wheel of Fortune WSIL (ABC - Harrisburg, IL): Entertainment Tonight KFVS (CBS - Cape Girardeau, MO): Everybody Loves Raymond WQWQ (CW/MeTV - digital subchannel of KFVS): How I Met Your Mother KBSI (FOX - Cape Girardeau): The Big Bang Theory WDKA (MyNetworkTV - Paducah): Family Feud (second half of double-run)
