When my wife told me about Lauer, Jennings was my first choice too.

My pick was Jeff Probst (given he did Rock & Roll Jeopardy!), but seeing as he has to juggle his talk show and Survivor (which he'll continue to do until he decides to step down), it's highly unlikely he'll be picked.

Johnny Gilbert is 88 years old. There's no way he'd get the job.

One down, one to go.There are many names floating around, but it's so far off I think it's silly to even consider them besides saying I don't want Jennings to get it. Does nobody else realize he has a speech impediment?

I would like to see another game show veteran get the job. I think Todd Newton or someone that already has game show experience would be better. If not pick someone new to the business. Just because they were a good Jeopardy player doesn't mean they will be a good host.
