Okay, so I'm Jessica and I'm joined by my totally awesome friend, Jenny to take over this site. No more stinky boys here. The sausage buffet line has ended. Wheel patterns? Not needed, fashion is much more interesting, really. I'm what they tell me is a Valley Girl, but, like, I don't get why, I don't live near any valleys.

This is one of quite a few April Fool's Day surprises the site has in store for you all today, Rule 63 avatars; look and see if you can find the others. This one in particular is especially important. You may only joke about our characters silly looks, how good mine looks, or self-deprecation humor.
Why? This particular event was chose to promote transgender and transsexual awareness and health. If you make ONE, and I mean ONE questionable or worse remark about this medical condition, you're answering to me. And you will be dealt with, hard, swiftly, and fast. You are also speaking to a condition that has made at least half of those afflicted with self-harm attempts, in the forms of mutilations (such as those of cutting, and genitalia) and frequent suicide attempts. Further, for the sole purpose of a mind to match body, the surgery (or surgeries) needed to change the body usually are upwards of $20,000. That isn't total, that is EACH. That's to be able to date, and live a hopefully normal life, without constant fear of self, let alone others' judging. I want to also state: Transsexual does not mean gay, nor is it a choice, and the surgeries are far from "elective." It simply means the person's brain is in contrast to their body. Imagine having the wrong body for until you could afford 5 figure surgeries, which goes along with depression, and self-loath.
I mean this truly. This is a cause that I feel is of utmost delicacy and importance. If you have any questions you would like to know about this medical condition, please, PM me, I'd be happy to answer them.
EDIT: Please, post in this thread, to not only make jokes at our avatars (and only said avatars), but to join me in my support of such a cause, especially the latter of the two, to let people know they are not alone in the world- and we're here for them.
